We really enjoyed the lovely atmosphere, the food was delicious, and our server was so attentive and caring throughout our meal.

I generally don’t go for Italian food, but when I do, it’s at The Rustic for their oxtail ragu and flat noodles. I definitely recommend a visit!

I had a great time celebrating Valentine's Day with a couple of friends. Our main plan was to attend the Sam Smith concert, so we stopped in for some pre-concert bites. The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially considering how busy Valentine's Day is for the restaurant industry. I always appreciate when servers help with recommendations, and our waitress was extremely helpful, suggesting delicious options even as we kept our meal light (we didn't want to be in a food coma during the concert!). Everything we tried was wonderful. I would love to come back and explore more of their menu. I definitely recommend this place!
The restaurant was bustling and full of energy. The food was fabulous, the service was impeccable and we appreciated the attention from the owner. We would highly recommend The Rustic.
We live in the neighborhood and want to support this place but found our recent visit just okay. A very nice woman greeted us and seated us. Pleasant. We ordered and a different person brought our food with no interaction, like night and day. The food was generous. We had the butternut squash risotto and the pasta with ragu. Both were under seasoned, and the cubed pieces of squash were undercooked, quite firm. The carrots in the ragu were the same. We did bring home leftovers but reheating didn't fix the issue. Maybe just an off night.
Very mediocre food. The lamb shank was dry, old, and tasteless. The waiter told us to get the salmon, when in fact the salmon was old, and smelly. Terrible. Do not recommend. Pizza might be the only thing they do well, although I did not try it.
Food was really good, glad me my lady and my two friends came here

We came here on a Friday night when we had trouble finding room for our group in a few other places. We were glad to discover it - a lovely space and service was very friendly and helpful.

This place is a gem. We had dinner here for my husbands birthday and it was so delightful - the food, the ambience, and the service. Dario was incredible.

The food here is always incredible and it's a very chic and cute spot. My only complaint is that the chairs are terrible.

Came here after finding this place on Resy. It’s actually quite good, though a little on the expensive side.
We got calamari, grilled seabass (branzino), the steak and tiramisu. All were pretty good.

Much to like in this casual and comfortable eatery. Interesting menu, ( we really liked the delicata squash side and wild mushroom pizza) friendly and efficient service. The chicory salad a little too vinegary for my taste, but appreciate that the salad menu included something besides beets and Caesar. The back room seating was reasonably quiet with music in the background, not blasting. (Thank you!) The only consistent downside is having a car. Parking in the area is really tough if you can't take public or use a taxi/car service. Next time we'll drive half way, then get a ride to the door.
We had made reservations, treated sweetly. Then we were placed in rear dining room which was drafty due to the storm. Our service started out great. Then after we ordered we never received our appetizer before our main meal. Then we said “no biggie” can we have x? We asked for more drinks as well. 30-40 minutes later we received neither. So two side items never delivered, no drinks. We asked for our check and left. The food we did have was good, but not out of this world. The service or lack of really ruined the experience. It was our first time out for NYE in a few years and it was kind of a flop.
Fantastic evening Dario and other waiters were engaged and knowledgeable. Food was great simply nothing to complain about even on a critical New Years eve - Happy 2026 !!
Great service & atmosphere - we were a large group that included a wide age range, and all were happy
