Stopped by for a couple of drinks while exploring the Dogpatch area. We were all satisfied with our cocktails and the service from the bartender. They have a pool table to play while enjoying drinks.

The BEST bar around with fantastic, inventive cocktails and an amazing vibe that makes you want to hang all night. Everyone is super friendly and Alicia is a genius when it comes to craft cocktails.

All the bartenders here have a great vibe and all are ready to help you have a great night out. Really love the vibe and drink menu of this place. Find my way here at least once a week… larger crowds on nights with chase or oracle events, more mellow on other nights. If you’re in the hood don’t miss out!

kind of steam punk adjacent vibes but not in an obnoxious way (which is hard to pull off). Good beer selection and no real complaints. Not a bad spot to go before a warriors game.

We were in Gold Beach for Thanksgiving week. We tried to go to Crow's Nest the night before turkey day but it was closed, so we stopped by the ol' Sea Star. I had never stepped foot in the bar so I was excited. The bartender was a little rude at first, but I didn't blame her - she probably didn't want to serve a bunch of idiots right before Thanksgiving. But she served up a tasty $1.25 pickled egg and a whiskey shot - what we considered the Sea Star's rendition of the pickleback. We played darts, there was music on the speakers, and the locals were nice. No complaints there. However, when we eventually left, the bartender, who at once was rude, came out from behind the bar and hugged each and every one of us. I did not deserve a hug but I got one anyway! Magical.

Great neighborhood spot. Friendly service, fantastic cocktails and an environment that makes you want to stick around for another round (see what I did there ;) ) If you find yourself in the Dogpatch area, The Sea Star needs to be on your list of places to check out, I promise you won't be disappointed!

What a great find! A bartender at Atwater suggested this place and so glad he did. Delicious craft cocktails and friendly recommendations. A great place to hang before going to Chase Center.
