They abandoned the building and are getting sued.. now this prime location will be empty for months because owners are dead beats. For the best though- literally the worst chicken and waffles I’ve ever had and served on a flat plate so syrup spills all over the table. Waffle was dry and crusty and chicken was dry and not seasoned. F this place. Trash.

French fries were very good. Drinks are incredibly overpriced. $20 for half cup of wine. $6 for a small cup of soda. $8 for 6 oz of beer. Food was reasonably priced. Service was terrible. We had to ask four times for the same drink. Three times for ketchup. It felt like we were a nuisance. It wasn't busy. There were maybe two other tables total? Just was a pretty poor experience. When we did get our drinks, we got the wrong wine, and the soda was watered down. Just a weird overall situation.

Have to follow up on Stephanie and Steven's recent (one-star) reviews. Socialite has had a sign on the doors for well over a month now saying they're closed for "maintenance" but we have seen no sign of any work going on. We live three blocks away and walk past there a couple times a week so we'd see it. After loving this place for a couple of years for their friendly, attentive staff, something happened in February this year (2023) when the entire front and back of the house turned over and they hired a group of people who didn't seem to have experience running or working in a restaurant. Steven's story of the chef who wouldn't leave him alone - that was our experience also. The front of the house manager was an African American guy who didn't seem to know how to run a restaurant. And the food (which was never that great) dropped a few notches. I hope the owners are reading these because this spot has so much potential and has turned over multiple times in the 20 years we've lived in the 'hood. Please, please hire some professionals and try again!

The location is a big plus for them. They are facing the main embarcadero road which runs along the coast line and has a fabulous breeze and outside seating and view. They also have an amazingly picturesque fire pit as part of outdoor seating.Affordable wines and bites for a quick stop with friendly service and decent food. Loved the clean cutlery and thankful for clean restrooms! In $88, we got:- a bottle of white wine - Hanna 4/5 - russian river valley $35 decent and filled 4+ glasses- fried cauliflower bites $14- 3/5 crispy but i wish it had more spices and flavor to it in addition to just salt and pepper- chicken wings with buffalo sauce 4/5 good decent and loaded with sauce- creme brulee - 5/5 just the right amount of everything and the perfect dessert to share :)All is well that ends well so here i am recommending this local restaurant #supportlocal

Amazing place! The food was the most reasonably priced of any place I've eaten this vacation and the service was amazing. Our server, was quick, friendly and made us feel like family. A wonderful restaurant and program that I'll be frequenting on every visit to this.

first time here! Since there was a show near the famed Mission rock resort. It's kind of a dive place on a prime area. The homeless were warming up their hands at the firepits outside, people were throwing up from having too much to drink outside, and the service was not all that attentive.Luckily the food made up for it.The cauliflower bites were pretty good and so where the steak bites on a stick. The beef tacos were not as good a little dryThe cocktails were so, soBut we watch the San Francisco 49ers win

Good stuff: This new restaurant is across from the Bay just south of the Bay Bridge entrance. Nice views. Street parking with meters. Hard to find otherwise.Nice environment inside the restaurant. Pub style wood and glass. Great views. Waitress was very nice. Not so much: Menu didn’t match what was online. Wasn’t clear that brunch menu ran to 3pm when we were going for lunch on the weekend. They let us order off both (2:45pm) which was nice.Food was okay. My companion had the quinoa salad which came with poached eggs. I had the salmon Benedict. The poached egg was more hard boiled than it should have been. Heavy paprika, splash of hollandaise. Not a sharp enough table knife to cut it and no sharper knife provided. The spinach tasted like frozen spinach. Bitter flavor. It came with roasted potatoes which were good. Needed a little seasoning.

Food was cold and mediocre at best. It took forever for service and it was pretty empty. May be better for happy hour, the drinks were good.

I appreciate that Socialite has a vegan brunch option, which is really hard to come by. I've come here a few times now to get their vegan chilaquiles (though it's more like a crispy taco) with crispy tofu, and it's a unique and tasty dish. The sauce that they use works really well with the other flavors, and it's amazing that they provide multiple options for vegan protein (tofu and soyrizo). Their coffee cocktails are also really good - definitely try their cold brew martini on tap and the salted caramel martini if they have it.

Came here with a group of 7 and we were welcomed with open arms, good food, and even better service. We took Ubers at night and we're able to see the beautiful lighted buildings on the way. Sergio was a fantastic waiter. The ambiance was really nice, low intimate lighting, and it felt open and spacious inside. I liked having an open view of the kitchen and their staff preparing our meals. It gave our dining experiences a more personal feel. I enjoyed their menu options and drink selections. The food was really good and everyone in my party of 7 enjoyed their food and drinks.

Went here our first night in SF - a group of 7. It wasn't busy at all on a Thursday evening. Our server Sergio was fantastic! The service was wonderful and fast! The food was tasty and the cocktails are.....different., but they are good. The socialite cocktail has some heat to it so if that's not your thing stay away from that one. Angel, the manager, was personable and waited outside with our group while we waited for our driver.

Such a welcoming and easy spot for big groups! Yes the food is not super inventive but it is good solid pub food overall with kind service. We got a round of drinks and everyone seemed happy with them - the socialite was delicious and refreshing, a pink prickly pear margarita. I do wish they did pitchers of drinks for big groups. The waiter was kind enough to bring us champagne glasses for a toast and overall a really nice festive night. Food was good too, we started with nachos, then did the quinoa salad and the Caesar. The quinoa was a bit dry but good, the Caesar hard to split since it's a wedge salad. The cauliflower bites were yummy with a nice creamy spicy dipping sauce, and finally we split several pizzas - for me the highlight was the truffle mushroom. Super cheesy pizzas overall but a yummy crust. Would return to check out the fire pits and hope they stick around!

Absolutely delicious and creative burger! Portions were so generous, I couldn't even finish everything. The server and host were incredibly kind and charming. Sat outside on a perfectly sunny day and it couldn't have been better.
