Both quality and quantity of food is just so-so. The coconut soup is a rip-off!, with 4 small pieces of chicken meat in a small coconut, which obviously came straight out of the refrigerator and reheated!

Nice pictures advertising the different types of soups. However the actual product was nothing like the pictures. We've never felt so scammed by a restaurant on Irving.
Service was rude ... Trying to push us out the door before we even finish our food.

The soup was so thin; Packaged broth I got in Costco has way more flavor. It's the worst food we have tried this year.

We ordered a Morel Mushroom soup. It was watered down chicken broth with one very cooked down Morel mushroom. Tasteless and served with little care. A 2nd dish was a beef stew. The sauce was oddly sweet like ketchup with no flavor of beef. Another complete fail with little beef. This place is gloomy and sad feeling. Its not worth the high prices and poor quality.

Very little, the service attitude is very average, the waiter yells at people. The meat in one dish was cold and it felt like a pre-cooked dish. I came here after reading an advertisement on Xiaohongshu. It’s really a lightning protection.

I don't care the quality of the food. Their customer service deserves one star. The waitress's service and attitude are super bad. I was allowing my daughter to play on her phone for last few minutes before starts dinner. She screamed so loud to my daughter and said in Chinese " don't play on your phone, time to eat" My daughter got scared and startled. The waitress walked away and came back and said almost same thing to her. I told the waitress that it was not her job to teach my daughter what to do and she just walked away to serve other customers. She was horrible. She should mind her own business. She needs to learn how to provide better customer service. She needs to not talk to a kid like that and she shouldn't talk to a kid or give any advice or teaching to a kid expecially the kid is not hers. We will never go there again. Horrible .

0 points for service. They know what they did So they request me to pay in the front instead of taking your card. That way they can watch you during the tip's signature. And she really throwing the packing box to me after 0 tipping. She doesn't deserve to be a waiter.
0 points for service, she knew how good her service was so she asked me to go to the front desk to pay instead of taking my card away and giving me the tip slip so she could look at me with a bad face when I tipped. Me, I felt deeply uncomfortable and gave 0 tip. Then I asked for a takeout box and she just threw it on the table and left. I was curious as to why the boss still dared to use him? No wonder your store's business is so poor. The food is okay, and the sausages are still edible. Just this service allows me to share it with my college classmates so that they will not come to your store again in the future. It's so bad. ! Am I a customer or is he a customer? She doesn't deserve it.

Looking for Chinese food with my boyfriend. Authentic food, nice environment, but extremely bad service. I literally felt bullied by the waitress. Never talked to us, looked at us, and when I asked her was the food being made after 20 minutes of waiting, she talked back in a loud voice saying don’t you understand it takes time? I literally froze for some time for this unexpected response. She talked loud in the restaurant with other employees also. Good place for people looking for authentic Chinese food, but make sure to visit when the waitress is happy.

I'm looking for something different for lunch with my uncle in San Francisco. The Soup shows up in my research, which seems like a good idea. I decided to give them a try.I was there at around 11:30 am. 30 minutes after the restaurant opens on a Saturday morning. The restaurant wasn't very busy. We have an excellent table next to the big window in front of the restaurant. The dining room is very clean and comfortable as well. All the soups and foods we ordered are delicious. We love them all. The service is better than most of the Chinese restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our lunch here. I’ll be back soon!
Parking: Street parking with a parking meter only

The food here is lacking in flavor. Ordered the chicken, ginger, lemongrass soup in coconut. Did not taste chicken, ginger, lemongrass or coconut. Ordered 3 different lotus leaf rice plates. The pork patty/salted fish was under seasoned and lacked flavor. Same with the beef and egg. The braised pork was probably the best of the bunch but the preserved vegetable was lacking in flavor. None of the three had any flavor of lotus leaf so it appears the rice was not cooked in lotus leaf. It was used just to keep the rice grains from falling through the steamer slits. The egg did leak through the lotus leaf and made a mess on the table. Interesting presentation of the rice plates for sure using bamboo steamers but executed poorly. On top of the flavor/seasoning issues across the board, all of the rice plates and soup were served lukewarm. The food really was a disappointment but I did not encounter the rude waitress that was mentioned in so many 1-star reviews. The experience and service was OK for us. That was the only positive during the visit.
