We didn't actually dine here because our reservation was after kitchen hours, but let's assume it would have been great. So this is just a review of the Starlite as a bar. And it was a good one. Great cocktails, excellent service and a vibe that was weirdly both energetic and comfortable. The people watching was excellent and even though the music was thumping and there was a big crowd, the comfortable seating areas allowed for intimate conversations and great connections. Overall, great, energetic atmosphere.
Beautiful room and view. Service was wonderful and they went out of their way to accommodate our party of 6. Always come back!
Great service. We requested a table to be able to view the sunset and were readily accommodated. Cocktails were well made. Appetizers were excellent.
Sitting by the window was amazing, music was fire!!! And honestly would definitely come back!
If you want your evening interrupted by nonstop camera flashes from college girl photoshoots then you'll have a blast.
Beautiful view of the city. They had a DJ playing 80 music. Fun crowd

Hard to get service here. The waiters took our first drink order and then all of our menus. We expressed we would want to order more, but the waiters took them anyways and (somewhat rudely) expressed that they needed them for other customers. We then had a lot of trouble tracking someone down to get more drinks and ended up waiting a long time. Multiple times people had drinks taken they werent finished with. Overall a cool vibe, but service was very lackluster. Music was also too loud to have a conversation
beautiful bar with panoramic views of the city. they could definitely zhuzh up the seating design and options but overall, a good time and the staff is always super attentive
Some of the best views in SF, with interesting and delicious cocktails to go along with them.

My friend and I went to this bar on the 26th. We had reservations, and we were told at the front that we weren’t allowed to bring in outside food (which is totally fine). The hostess had us sit in the wrong seat. Part of your job as the hostess is to be able to sit people down at the right seats and differentiate between how many parties will be attending. My friend and the person beside us had the same name, but 4 people in their party, and it was just my friend and me. If you were doing your job correctly, you would have called ahead of time or ensured seating based on how many people were seated. How is it that San Francisco is a predominantly Asian community, and you can’t set up a system that doesn’t make customers feel like second-class citizens in a city that is mainly Asian? (THIS IS COMING FROM A BLACK PERSON) The hostess was very unprofessional, but our waitress was very kind, and she had amazing customer service. She was also Asian. I don’t remember her name, but she has bangs with glasses. She needs a raise. She was the best server I’ve ever had. SHE NEEDS A RAISE ASAP!!! The manager was also very kind, and so was the assistant GM. Shout out to TJ. They were able to turn our experience around.

Midnight 12/26 party of 8. I can only review based on the one drink I had but I will say the Old Fashioned here is fantastic.
What ruined the experience was the quality of service. “What is it?” in a curt tone is not how to take a customer’s drink order, especially when I had to flag her down after 12 minutes of our party being ignored. Fyi I use the word “curt” here because it’s the closest spelling to a word that more accurately describes our server’s personality, but prevents my review from being censored. Well, as a regular to the Starlite lounge and all of it's sex and the city-esque vibes it brings, the delicious food such as the sourdough straticella and the donuts don't miss either, the staff and drinks being the whole rooftop views together. Jose and Calé (KALL-AYY) are truly what makes a local come back. Whether it's a end of the week wrap up on Friday happy hour, or a sexy Saturday night date night all the way to a Sunday rainy San Francisco evening with a girlfriend celebrating, it's the place to visit and definitely a place to give a try.
