Could be she had an off day, but our server wasn't great. Unfortunately, it does impact whether I would want to come again. Otherwise, it was good - enjoyed the focaccia, beef carpaccio and polenta. The risotto was good, but not the highlight. Cute spot though and friendly host.
This is one of the few restaurants in SF that is open and lively after 9pm. Food is excellent, and the service is friendly and attentive. Good cocktails for $16 - less than some spots now in SF. Highly recommend.
We have had pretty consistently good experiences here. We were surprised that they didn't have any coffee options - not even drip coffee - after a week. It's a pretty weak sign by a restaurant to not address something so simple when they could purchase a nespresso machine when coffee is also highly profitable. Don't serve breakfast or brunch when you don't have any coffee options - sorry, no excuses in a coffee city.
