Got the lobster spaghettini with broccolini, but only got stems and no tops. That was rather disappointing but the sauce, the pasta and lobster were great. The desserts were the best part of the meal I had Budino which was delicious and pomegranate sorbet was great too!
On a recent visit to San Francisco, I did something I rarely do which was to have the same cuisine two nights in a row. We stopped in for lunch at this open and airy Italian restaurant on the Fillmore Street restaurant row. After cozying up to the empty bar and settling down, we ordered a Caesar, a Bucatini All’amatriciana, and an Orata alla Ligure. The Caesar salad was a nice size, and I liked it. Traditional, with the correct amount of spice, the Bucatini was very good. My Orata was different. I have never tasted anything like it, even on the Ligurian coast. No pesto came near this dish....
