Great place in downtown San Francisco. Good view of the surrounding buildings. Not a large food menu. Pricey drinks, and no happy hour.
Parking: Rust the waiter was friendly.

Finally went by The Third Floor for pre-dinner drinks in their beautiful patio. Truly a hidden gem in SF downtown, I was blown away with how tranquil and chic it was. The service left much to be desired (may have just been understaffed but service was slow and felt disorganized). Had a couple small apps that were fine, want to come back for a full meal to give a proper review. Drinks were great though.

Prices were high, for example $11 for a kids' apple juice. Dinner and drinks were decent, but compared to restaurants nearby not especially memorable. I thought the breakfast options were better, with fresh dishes and standard pricing for a nice hotel.
The restaurant was mostly empty until we left and yet when we requested to be seated near the window, the hostess said they were reserved. Yet when my colleague showed up without a reservation, they were seated exactly there. That was an all white team vs us :( so very disappointed to see this behavior!
Food - i ordered wine and they billed me higher that the charges. Again, unclear if this was an honest mistake or some other motivation :(
It is a decent restaurant but atmosphere is created right from the hostess to all the way until bill is paid.

After reading other reviews I was optimistic for this experience but unfortunately it turned out to very much be just a standard hotel restaurant with mediocre service at best and promising but not quite delivering food.
We stopped for a breakfast brunch on a Saturday morning while we had time to pass in the area. The initial server was less than helpful in even attempting to address a simple coffee request. (My dining mate actually went down the street and got the mocha they were seeking and brought it back.) The second sever who came over was a bit more welcoming and did check on us. When we asked for butter for the toast they brought a huge ramekin with enough butter for a loaf of bread, which we found odd.
Food wise, the two omelets ordered at the table came out luke warm and one of them was missing ingredients. The burger was tasty and well some though.
Recommend a pass on The Third Floor.

Went here for a bday lunch, wasn't made aware that the kitchen closes at a certain time. My reservations were at 1:30pm, so we were only able to try appetizers and had to find another restaurant to sit and have a meal.
What a chill location! Burger was perfectly cooked! I ordered medium rare and it wasn’t over cooked. Veggies were fresh, and the bun was able to stand up to a very moist burger!

Our appetizers were served before our cocktails. Then our dinners were served while we were trying to eat our appetizers, still no beverages. After inquiring about where our drinks might be, after 45 minutes, they finally arrived! Food was mediocre at best. We were there to enjoy our wedding anniversary. We will not return.
Everything was great until the junk fee was added that wasn't on the bar or food menu.

Service was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Drinks were awesome. Was not as enamored with their food. Has the short rib skewer - interesting but wouldn't try again. Duck soup was good. Spicy fried chicken sandwich - basic - strange flavorings - soggy bread - just pass on that one. Ambiance was lovely so worth a visit even if you just have drinks in the lounge.
The food is just okay, nothing special. My pasta was only like warm and pretty tasteless. The fried chicken sandwich was okay, but not great. The chocolate custard dessert was good. I like the window seats and view.

I recently visited this restaurant. It's really a great place in the heart of San Francisco. I loved the ambiance, good food and very courteous staff.
