The vibe was festive and the wait staff were a joy. The food was tasty but at $95 for a small salad, risotto and a small dessert, it was overpriced.

We went to The Vault Garden for Christmas Eve. We enjoyed the special fixed prix menu, the view of the Christmas tree outdoors and the specialty cocktails were yummy. My only complaint is that the table was cleared before our last guest was finished with their main course (a MAJOR dining faux pas in my book) and dessert and the check were given to us immediately after he was finished. We weren't asked if we'd like an after dinner drink or coffee and were completely rushed out. It definitely didn't give us a warm and fuzzy Christmas Eve vibe!

The Vault Garden was decorated quite beautifully for the Holiday season and the service was excellent but the food and drinks were not something I would return for. We ordered cocktails from the Holiday menu and I'm not sure about the mixologist palate but the Abominable Snowman was just that; abominable. It tasted like a Caprisun with dissolved Baer Baby Aspirin. The potatoes were soaked in vinegar which I just don't understand. Overall, we wouldn't return but we did enjoy the Christmas spirit and the lovely staff.

The food at the Vaults Garden at Christmas time is their regular lunch menu with signature christmas themes drinks. The drinks and food was meh and overpriced, with the scallops plate looking small and dismal. Our friend was shocked because this plate is over $50, so he returned it for a burger, which he received after the table finished their food. Also the mac n cheese was cold when it came to the table and we returned it to the kitchen. When the same order came back it was a smaller portion! The fries that come with the steak were also a very small portion with most of the potatoes in bits. The vibe of this place from the beginning was very strange. When we sat at the table our initial waiter's energy was a bit odd with an attitude of annoyance. His vibe made us feel rushed and not all excited to be celebrating our gathering. We thought about ordering dessert but thought we may be disappointed like we did with the rest of the food and service. The overall experience was not great and we won't come back. It's too bad too - so much potential but not worth driving to SF from the East Bay.

Server seemed like he was out of it, kept forgetting things, came back asking if we ordered food when we only ordered drinks, had to ask him multiple times for our bill.

What a wonderful Christmas experience! The servers and staff are so nice, the ambiance is beautiful, and the drinks and food are pretty good. I especially love the long list of diverse Christmas beverages—amazing! The only thing I'd suggest is that if you're having guests towards the end of the night, you could keep the heaters in the area mostly on. They started turning off the heaters if no one was directly below them, but that heat really helps those of us adjacent to it (like those on the side). The Bay area has been feeling very cold lately, so the heaters are a major deal.

The service is amazing and they make you feel special and welcome to come back at all times!!

Absolutely delicious food w/layers of detailed flavors! Everything is tasty and you cannot go wrong w/any of the entrees. Head chef is a mastermind of a genius and I loved the ambience! A must stop in SF!

Server's name on receipt was Adrianna and she deserves to be replaced. My appetizer arrived during my entree, and she avoided me for the rest of my meal. Restaurant Week is supposed to encourage business and she was not doing anything to represent The Vault in a positive manner. She got no tip. I will return to The Vault at some point, and by that time I am she will have been fired.

I brought my dog which was a mistake since my dog barked. But, they took care of us nicely. Thank you. Next time, I won't take my dog.

The service was excellent and the food was creative and well-prepared. The oysters were especially fresh and flavorful. A great spot in SF with a refined yet relaxed atmosphere.

Had dinner at The Vault Garden with a group of colleagues. We had a pre-set menu since it was a large group, so my review is based on what I ordered.

I started with the tuna tartare, which was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My main course was the steak frites; while the fries were great, the steak itself was a bit chewy and lacked flavor, even though it was cooked medium rare. For dessert, the sorbet was light and refreshing.

Service was very good and the staff were friendly and attentive. The garden setting is beautiful and makes for a lovely dining experience. Overall, it was a pleasant evening, though I might explore other menu options next time.

We enjoyed our dinner at the Vault Garden. Nothing was overly impressive but the food was pretty good. The sweet potato dumplings were the overwhelming favorite. The mushroom risotto was also solid. The Vault is right across the street from the Omni so it’s convenient. If you have time then go somewhere else but if not this isn’t a strike out.
