I came to the place, where it informs the address and there is nothing here. A waste of time.

Bummed I had a short break so I couldn’t wait in line, looking forward to trying them soon! Rating to be updated.
Soul Food done right! Period. Full portion. Tasty, well seasoned. Delicious!
I ate here with someone who isn't vegan, and they said the lamb sliders taste exactly like lamb. The poke nachos had great house fried wonton chips. The service was great, and the food was ready quicker than expected!
Vegetarian options: Fully vegan!

They started popping up at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market on Thursdays from 10a-2p with a brunch menu alongside their normal offerings. The fried egg on several brunch items is yuba-based. I loved how everything was seasoned on the Brunch Soul Bowl, and I probably could have eaten another bowl of Cajun Mac. ? Service was unbelievably slow, but maybe this will improve in the coming weeks. 2021-06-10 I saw an email announcement that they’d be in a food truck competition at Spark Social in Mission Bay in the afternoon, so I made plans to walk an hour and finally try out their food. Unfortunately, they weren’t serving their normal full menu: I really wanted to try their Cajun chick’n sando. But the Kale Yeah!!! was probably one of the best kale salads I’ve ever had. Getting a taste of their fried chicken batter coating some jackfruit was such a pleasure. The vegan feta was unbelievably close to the dairy version. I look forward to whenever I get a chance to enjoy their full menu at another time. Updated from previous review on 2021-06-10
I really wanted to love this place but it was mediocre. My boyfriend and I had the Po Boy and macballs. The Po boy had great flavor but not enough sauce/innerds for how much bread there is. The bread was also too crunchy and took away from the fried mushrooms. The macballs were disappointing. The mac n cheeze and the batter was plain and too salty. For having to wait 45 minutes-hour for these two, it wasn’t worth it.
I've been to many veggie restaurants around the world. These jackfruit wings were, simply put, one of the best things I've ever eaten. Even the carnivores in the house were shook.Sign up for their emails to know what they're making each weekend.
Delicious vegan food that’s so flavorful. Would recommend to everyone - you’re not going to be missing the meat at all!
I finally got to pre-order with the Vegan Hood Chefs this weekend. I kept being out of town or something but have wanted to try their food for months. I have been a vegetarian for 16 years and eat mostly plant based and I can honestly say this was one of the tastiest vegan meals I have had! This week it was the Oyster Mushroom PoBoys and Cajun potato salad on the menu. The flavors were so good! Delivery was great and the staff is super helpful. I can’t say enough about their food and their mission.
