Convient location at the corner of 1500 Owens Street. Friendly efficient and quick service. Order taker repeated meal, drink was ready when I was, utensils and napkin came with my dish and bus staff thanked me for my patronage. Spinach and cranberry salad was excellent: rich bright flavored dressing, abundant spinach and walnuts and tasty to the last bite. A good place for breakfast or lunch while waiting for my partner's wife appointment to conclude.
I have been ordering food for a long time. The food it’s delicious! I didn’t want to complaint but it keeps happening every time I order for pick up. I arrive & go to the pick up counter and I stand there for minutes and minutes. The two workers at the entrance to the right ( behind counter) see me, the cooks see me, employee on break seating near the pick up counter see me and another employee that walks out from the back to the front towards the napkins & utensils...
So glad to see this former coffee shop which closed during the pandemic, reopened as the fourth “The Venue” in San Francisco. A great place to have breakfast, lunch, or a great cappuccino while waiting for an appointment at one of the many UCSF departments in the building. Try the gluten free bagels!
