We are a frequent guest of Yellow Chili in Santa Clara, and thought we would give the SF location a try. Little did we know that the biryani we order would smell rancid upon opening. Not only was it a waste off money, but this causes serious health issues. How can a professional restaurant be serving this quality of food? Exceptionally disappointed, and disgusted. We will not be purchasing from here again.
I think these guys don’t respect their guests.1st time they denied us as we were doing walk-in fair enough no problem.Next time we made reservations and they denied us again stating that they have no table. They don’t value customer time I guess they were rude.May be they forgot Indian values: atithi devo bhav. Please don’t ruin the name of India in US. Be humble guys.
Have been a great fan of Sanjeev Kapoor's food. Singapore airlines Business class indian food served is crested by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor and I always preferred traveling by Singapore airlines when I lived in South East Asia not only for their outstanding service, but also for the heavenly indian fare served.I always wanted to savour the food in one of his restaurants. Fortunately, Chennai had outlet in Nungambakkam High' Road. Fell in love with it. Always used to drop in there whenever I was in Chennai for well crafted delicacies. Unfortunately, they closed down the outlet. Got to know that an outlet has opened up in SF. Ordered Lamb Biryani and Tandoori chicken the next day.. Waa not disappointed at all. Ordered Chicken Biryani and Lamb Tandoori and it eas awesome. Michelin standard restaurant. Unfortunately no dine in. Hope they open up soon.Stopped ordering indian food from other places after I found Yellow chilli. Atlast a good restaurant with authentic recipes in SF, unlike the other restaurants which dish out inferior quality of food or don't dish out what the dish is supposed to be
Ordered rasmalai for desert and it tasted stale and rotten. Thank you for ruining my favorite Desert. It might take few months to get over it. ?

Good food. Note that there's no dine-in option in SF.
