Seriously going to miss this place a lot. The punk shows at night were always fun and energetic. During the day, it was an excellent spot for all sorts of groups to meet up ranging from baseball teams to Polaroid camera nerds. This combination of seamlessly encouraging such different kinds of passionate people reflected the culture of SF pretty accurately. They held onto an independent spirit without settling on specific theme. RIP Maria. This is what gentrification looks like in action.

It's only gonna be open for a few more weeks so go see a piece. Of SF history before it's scrubbed off the earth forever. Cash only establishment. ATM available.

Best dive bar EVER! 4 years away from historical status. It will never make it as the building has been sold out from under the owner. It will be closing. This makes me so sad for those that will never get to experience it. Greed wins.
