Seriously going to miss this place a lot. The punk shows at night were always fun and energetic. During the day, it was an excellent spot for all sorts of groups to meet up ranging from baseball teams to Polaroid camera nerds. This combination of seamlessly encouraging such different kinds of passionate people reflected the culture of SF pretty accurately. They held onto an independent spirit without settling on specific theme.

Great bar. Great food qzimg people.
So sad it's being shut down, torn down and turned into condos. This place. Doesn't deserve to be gentrified. It's only gonna be open for a few more weeks so go see a piece. Of SF history before it's scrubbed off the earth forever.

One of the great dive bars in the city that is secretly a cocktail gem. When they have the slushy machine running it’s extra amazing. It’s incredibly unfortunate that developers are destroying a sacred 3rd space for so many. Shame on them to build condos you can’t afford
