Tricky to rate. 1/5 for staff and 8/10 foe something a little different that is gluten free and yummy.TIP: The coffee cups are incorrectly designed (seal is off) which means by default they will leak if the lid is not placed at the exact correct position (in line with vertical seal on cup)...so ask for two cups to collect drips - lesson learnt the hard way.FOOD: Great selection of varied mochi delights. They don't seem to be as fresh as those at Nisshodo in Hawaii - however 10/10 for the incredibly broad array of flavours (see pics). Great array of some jams/spreads, fresh juices, great array of hot drinks (also see pics) and some cute Japanese merchandise.STAFF: They had one staff member cooking (in pic), he seemed competent enough - the other was on his phone, sitting on the chair back from the counter - despite a number of people in the shop asking if he could serve them. He didn't want to serve anyone - had extremely poor work ethic and unprofessional attitude that makes me wonder how he still has a job.ACCESSIBILITY and STORE; and wheelchair (all one level) accessible store with ample street parking outside and seconds from the tram/bus stop.OVERALL: I couldn't bring myself to support a store with such an ill mannered staff member and the mochi's weren't a big enough' draw card' to have me come back.

The mochi doughnuts are amazing. I try a new one every time, you can’t go wrong. (Also I’ve got celiac disease and they’re gluten free; I’ve never had an issue or been unwell after!)

Won't fill reusable mugs even with black coffee

Mochi muffins are delicious with the right amount of chewiness and they're not too sweet. Their matcha is high quality and I usually go for the seasonal drinks. The hojicha is very aromatic and delicious as well

Lunar New Year this dragon year was an absolute blast! Thought I was supposed to go for the specials before the festivities end. This time around, I enjoyed all things black sesame, except the jar on the chilling off-the-shelf display (should've bought that one first, but oh well). Well, I had no other choice than to pay with my credit card since I bought both the black sesame latte and the black sesame waffle with bananas and black sesame ice cream on top. That type of exclusive dessert was bomb! Might have one again if I see them as a regular. For the black sesame latte, I should've asked the staff to make it less sweetened or unsweetened. Anyways, can't argue with good service! These third culture kids will always make every customer's day brighter than ever! Still like the pink interior, btw.

Went for the ube mochi muffins, but they were sold out. Definitely will go earlier, next time. I got a mochi donut and muffin, both so good and soft. The staff was so kind to advise for us to come earlier next time. Also gave us a little discount :) Inside is super cute and there is seating for you to enjoy your goods.

The donuts are incredible and the muffin is outstanding. Good gluten free goodies are hard to find, and Third Culture knocks it out of the park!

I've heard good things about Third Culture and was excited to try it. My girlfriend and I came on a Saturday afternoon and the wait wasn't too long. Server was friendly and the inside was nicely decorated. Here's what we ordered: Salted Maple Cold Brew Latte (4/5) - YUM. Generally cold brews tend to have a really strong coffee forward flavor but this one was nicely balanced with some hints of maple. The little maple syrup, flaked sea salt, and mix of coffee was such a harmonious blend. My girlfriend usually isn't a fan of cold brews but actually enjoyed this too! Would recommend. Strawberry Lychee Roasted Matcha Latte (4/5) - This was a super refreshing strawberry and matcha mix. It really reminded me of strawberry matcha boba drink. Unfortunately I didn't taste too much lychee in the drink but it was still a good drink overall. Ube Mochi Muffin (5/5) - The crispy edges of the muffin reminded me a lot of the corner pieces of a butter mochi. I do love myself the corner pieces! The ube flavor was prevalent throughout the muffin. I would recommend this to all my ube lovers. Thai Tea Butter Mochi Donut (4/5) - As a fan of butter mochi, I was really excited to try this donut. I definitely wasn't disappointed as it has the same chewy/bouncy bite to it. The Thai tea flavor was subtle. I actually kinda wish I had a stronger hint of Thai tea as I love the flavor of Thai tea. Overall, this did not disappoint and would recommend this to all my coffee/mochi lovers out there.

The Salted Maple Cold Brew Latte is my new favorite coffee drink in the neighborhood! 10/10 recommend that puppy. It is delicious. Regarding the mochi doughnuts, I prefer the ones with the fruity icings.

This review is a little long overdue but i finally got a chance to check this cafe out while i was visiting SF. I just say the vibe and the ambiance here is so cute and hip but also inviting. I love that the bar is an open concept and you can see your drink being made. The menu is simple enough to where it doesn't feel overwhelming but there's still a lot of variety and options for everyone. I had to try the lychee matcha latte and it honestly did not disappoint. The line remained long the entire time we were there but our food and drinks came out in a timely manner and everyone was so friendly here.

tried the seasonal black sesame specials -- soy milk latte and butter mochi donut. I loved the latte and thought it the black sesame flavor was nutty enough, slightly on the sweet end and requires constant stirring but overall pretty decent. the donut was unique compared to a regular light donut as it is more chewy, and the topping had subtle black sesame flavor. would be cool if the donut also incorporated some black sesame taste! overall, service is great as usual, and you should definitely try to catch Third Culture when they have their sales!

This staff at this location are not friendly. The ube mochi donuts are pretty good though.
