Really good boba milk tea, with perfectly chewy boba, and very reasonably priced. This may be one of my favorite spots in the Outer Sunset for boba.

One of my favorite Boba shops in the Sunset district. All their drinks are flavorful without being too sweet. Their boba is always spot on in terms of texture and the most important thing about TJ is their consistency quality.

The teas are strong, the smoothies are delicious. I have only heard about the tea because I am a caffeine free child, but the smoothies. THE SMOOTHIES!!!!! They have so many different flavours, and the sweetness is always perfect. I also like how their large sizes are actually large. I definitely recommend the red bean smoothie, which somehow exists, and I LOVE IT. The drinks can get a bit sweet, but you can change the sweetness on all of them, I believe. Since they are a very popular business, it does take some time for them to make the drinks, but the wait is always worth it. And, they are "professionals," and they work as hard as they can to make your drink. It's a very small place, so most people get their drinks to-go, which is what happens at most boba shops anyways, so that doesn't change anything about my extremely high opinions about them. I did have a favourite drink before, but they took it off the menu. I have since loved the red bean smoothie, and highly recommend it.:)

Good specialty drinks - the matcha slushy with green tea ice cream and red bean was very tasty! Boba is fresh here and the drinks are not too sweet. Overall, great stop after taking kids to the zoo.

I came here to grab a boba drink. I got the Matcha Milk Snow. It contained matcha snow with whole milk, red bean, and Green tea ice cream. The taste of the drink was good, I had 75% sweetness. The price was a little high which was $9.99. I ordered from the kiosk inside the store. I didn't experience too much of service except when picking up the drink. It looked like they were remodeling one side of the store. But inside it has a rustic look.I would stop by again if I was in the mood for Matcha snow.

Visited this shop after grabbing lunch nearby. Not sure what I expected, but my initial impression was that I thought the prices were really high. There is not much seating space inside, so this place is a more of a grab and go spot. Because of the nature of the shop, there is very limited staff/service interaction too, so I cannot speak much on the service here.Per suggestion on the top drinks menu, I ordered the signature milk tea, the #1 drink on the top drinks menu, with boba. The drink came out quickly, which was good. The drink, however, was just okay. The boba was more on the softer side. I thought the drink tasted not really like a typical/basic milk tea with unusual hints of Oreo?? Not really what I expected and for such an overpriced cost, I probably will not come back again because I thought it did not taste good and it was expensive.

My mom's FAVORITE local tea spot. Bouncy boba and strong tea! Any time we drink boba from another place, she always compares it to TJ because TJ is now become her standard.

Situated in the more quiet area of Richmond, we were able to score a parking spot around the corner on a Sunday. Already garnered points for location! You can order at the register or take your time and order at their electronic kiosk. We got their signature TJ boba milk tea that comes with a non dairy creamer. Love. I got my sugar level at 50% and it was just sweet enough while letting you taste the tea. Their boba was perfectly chewy with a slight brown sugar taste. Very satisfied with TJs!

I've been here twice now and both times have been a great experience. On my first visit I tried the Dole pineapple freeze with coconut milk. It was super refreshing and the perfect consistency. I also enjoyed the bits of real pineapple. Perfect for a nice sunny day! For my second visit, shoutout to Christine for being super friendly and helpful in crafting my drink. I had been eyeing the Real taro smoothie but wanted to add Oreos blended in (I've had something similar at another cafe and loved it). I noticed Christine was sampling the drink as she was making it to ensure it tasted good which I thought was really going above and beyond so I appreciated that! And it was SO DELICIOUS! Exactly what I wanted. TJ Cups will definitely be my new fav spot, not only for the tasty drinks but also the amazing customer service! I look forward to trying some of their other drinks as well!

I’ve ordered here a few times now and it’s always ready we’ll before the estimate! I’m within walking distance so that’s really convenient for me; just order and start walking since it’s ready so quickly :)The recommended sweetness is the right move. 75% sounds like it will be sickly sweet but so far it’s been the perfect amount.Matcha is earthy but not bitter & mango is sweet and fruity :)

They have the best slush drinks, matcha, milk tea, everything they have is good! And their boba is so chewy and stays that way even with a slush drink. My favorites are the mango freeze coconut milk with boba and the matcha with salty cheese creama.
