I ordered a sandwich with two sides of gravy through Uber Eats for pickup. When I arrived, the chefs said my order had already been taken and refused to remake it, even though I showed my receipt. The manager came out and was very rude, despite me explaining I’m a regular customer who even picked up my annual Thanksgiving meal the day before. After accusing me of “screaming” (though I was speaking calmly over the loud music), they finally remade the order but shoved it at me and pushed me out. I live a block away and may give them another chance, but beware online pickup orders can get mishandled here.

Love this place. I usually end up here at the end of day everytime I go to sf. My favorite is the pastrami and the cornbread. The menu has many items and have never been disappointed with any of the food

Was going to the Theatre and thought we would try Tommy’s since it had been a few years since we hadn’t been back. Have been going there for over 50 years since my teens. Used to love it and look forward to going each time. Unfortunately we all were disappointed. All Meat we tried was tough,unflavorful, dry, and difficult to chew. The gravy, stuffing, mashed potato’s tasted like they were setting all day. All in all very disappointing, and it’s sad because we loved the old Tommy’s so much. Another SF legend gone!

Very cool place with exceptional food at low prices, feels like stepping back in time in the best possible way. We saw a few people mention in reviews being prepared before getting in line to order food and not holding up the queue so we were very conscious of this but actually the gentleman serving could not have been friendlier and he seemed more than happy to advise us where needed. Would highly recommend a visit here, you won’t leave disappointed.
Finally able to revisit this place. Walked into a semi- crowded bar and restaurant with all the locals. Right before a concert nearby as all the old rockers were pregaming. Wonderful crowd and best tasting cuts of meat. Roast beef, bbq brisket and turkey our entourage ordered. Spaghetti, mashed potatoes and salads were our sides, with many other options we wish we could of tried. The bar was hopping, diverse crowd as well. After over eating the place was packed, with always a line for the food. Get here if never been, you'll be back like I plan too.
