Delicious, filling, uncomplicated food at a reasonable prices. Beef, lamb, turkey, or pork perfectly cooked, with generous portions and yummy sides. A beloved San Francisco institution.
Love this place. I usually end up here at the end of day everytime I go to sf. My favorite is the pastrami and the cornbread. The menu has many items and have never been disappointed with any of the food
Very cool place with exceptional food at low prices, feels like stepping back in time in the best possible way. We saw a few people mention in reviews being prepared before getting in line to order food and not holding up the queue so we were very conscious of this but actually the gentleman serving could not have been friendlier and he seemed more than happy to advise us where needed. Would highly recommend a visit here, you won’t leave disappointed.
