Lots of fun for a special occasion

overhyped & over priced. Its a decent experience with the pool in the middle & everything, BUT they literally change $15 PER PERSON for the band & a 15% gratuity already added into your bill. We had 2 appetizers & 2 drinks for $150 which is ridiculously overpriced. The music's too loud to even talk to your partner. Wouldn't go back again. The menu is also very little, so I suggest looking at the menu before even going.

Came here on vacation and was served by David who was excellent! So friendly and fun, had a great attitude and recommended us thing. The vibe was super rad and food was delicious.

The atmosphere is very unique, but the food had no flavor. Also the music was too loud for having a casual dinner. The drinks weren't bad at least. If I ever do go back I would just get drinksDietary restrictions: Gluten free

I give my experience a solid 2 overall. The waiters and food was amazing. So was the live singing. The waiters were so kind, helpful and loved to help taking photos. That is what saved this review from being a zero.First off, hotel guests are barely accommodated and not prioritized which is completely ridiculous considering how much we pay to stay there. The Fairmont in my home town set aside a few tables to accommodate hotel guests and to have tables ensured for them. Why is this not implemented here?!?! We should have a place to eat guaranteed. Wouldn’t you rather guests spend money in the hotel rather than spend money externally?! Business 101. It’s a class. Tonga room. consider taking it. And despite the long line, there were tables sitting empty for the whole night. Secondly, the staff was the rudest I’ve ever encountered. Ever. We waited in line for over an hour outside the restaurant. They were saying if you just wanted drinks you could go right in but no table and food. Understandable. A family behind us in line took this opportunity. When it was finally our turn we got up to the front. That hour line was only to get on the wait list. Not once was this told to us otherwise we wouldn’t have even bothered. We were expected to wait even longer without being informed. Frustrated with already waiting, we put our name on the list. We go in to have drinks while waiting and we see the family from before (who were behind us in line) sitting at a table (which was promised wasn’t going to happen) with food. Absolutely unfair and ridiculous. We go back out and talk to the hostess and we were accommodated. Which was totally nice. But the cake on top was when we were served drinks less than 30 minutes until they closed. Right at 11:01 there was a man circulating rushing us to down the drinks and verbatim said “get out people” and “you need to leave”. This was said to every table. What the hell? This was the worst Fairmont experience I’ve ever had. They are always the best. This restaurant was a complete disappointment because of how rude and horrible the staff were. Not a Fairmont experience at all.My personal suggestions would be to prioritize seating of hotel guests, and not kick people out a minute after close RUDELY.

Had a great time with friends and colleagues on this past Wednesday night. Drinks were great. Music was a vibe and the food and service were great. Will definitely come again. Thanks for having us.

The food has improved dramatically from past meals. Mr David is an absolute delight as our guide to dining. Mr Michael is a fabulous gentleman general manager who creates a proper friendly atmosphere. The ambiance is wonderfully tiki and very clean. Will return regularly now that it's become so delightful!
