Tony's Pizza Napoletana

Don’t order online. We got to Tony’s to get our online order that was to be ready at 6:59. Well we were told 10 min. After 15 min. we were told 5 more minutes. When we finally got our food after 35 min after it was to be ready the pizza was COLD. It wasn’t like it was warm nope it was cold where the cheese was hard. We had ordered pasta and pizza and the pizza obviously was ready on time but not the pasta. What upset me the most was that the woman at the takeout counter could care less. A restaurant like this should care and should have compensated us something. At least an acknowledgment that they messed up. It was an expensive cold pizza. Restaurants should always remember how important customer service is.

OK, if I pay $28 for a Napolitano Pizza, it has to be really good. What I got was far from it. The dough was just meh, ingredients were even worse. Deep fried Kale was tasteless and greasy. Cheese was too overpowering (don't judge me that I ordered a stupid pizza. I wanted to have a white pie). I also got stuffed squash blossoms (a Mediterranean delicacy) and it was just greasy. I don't know how to put another way. Affogato was just OK (difficult to mess with) . The bartender was so nice.

Very touristy place and they know whatever they serve will be accepted by the tourists waiting on the line for a long time.

Excellent food. True Neapolitan pizza oven powered by wood, dough made by-the-book with the right cruse and bottom char, and great thickness of the pizza.
The spaghetti meatballs was HUGE and one of the tastiest I've had.

YES it's worth the line and wait! On a Friday night we had to wait maybe and hour and a half for a table for 5. Which wasn't too bad as we were able to join the Yelp waitlist remotely and wait for a text to let us know when to check in with the staff.

Our party went with three pies and an appetizer. The calamari was lightly battered and so crispy! Coming in a good portion we all had a health portion. Our server recommend we do the half an half and the buffalo was spicy!

We got the New Yorker which was so thin and crispy and came loaded with meat. Although I would say I tad too much for my liking. But the crust is perfection! The squash blossom and margarita pies were both delicious but not as crispy as the New Yorker!

Will be back to try other styles of pizza!

The area where the restaurant is located is very beautiful since it has a park, church and is very colorful.

The wait is somewhat long so it is worth booking in advance.

When you try the pizza you will know that it was worth the wait.

Their vodka pizza is the greatest pizza of all time. I cannot talk about it enough. Excellent customer service, they make everyone feel like family. Tony's makes me excited to come to San Fran.

I expected much different pizza, according to reviews here. The dough was burnt and it also tasted like burnt pizza. It didn’t look like pizza Neapolitan should look like. Not at all. The gluten dough was also very below average. Not recommended.
