Had a great first visit to Toronado! Charlie was super friendly and took care of my group. I bought some merch that I wore the next day at a conference and got lots of compliments from the locals attending.

We had a great time visiting this craft beer institution. The beer list is amazing, as expected. Despite, the many reviews about the bartenders' negative attitudes, we found our bartender to be friendly and attentive. We would definitely return!

I’ve loved this bar since I moved to SF a year and a half ago. Unfortunately it has smelled like vomit every time I’ve visited the last 3 months. Please fix this because I used to love showing this bar to visitors.

I’ll say up front that the atmosphere might not be for everyone but it is for me. The music is loud and hard, it dimly lit and filled with beer memorabilia from floorboards to ceiling. It’s awesome. The beer selection is awesome. Not a single big brewery on tap. I love it. If you want to introduce yourself to a very large variety of the best regional brews around, this is your place. I love it.

Great beer selection and awesome staff, but the smell of beer farts and gentrification is baked into the walls leaving the outside patio the desired seating.

Toronado has been here for years but there's a lot of bars not only in the vicinity but around the city that have quite a beer selection nowadays. Toronado has one small TV and one old jukebox. Truth is they have some of the lamest bartenders around. I don't believe any of them have had experience bartending elsewhere. They're not very friendly at all and most of them are jerks. It's just not what it once was here.
