Tortellino SF catered our company picnic and did a fantastic job! The veggie lasagna was creamy and flavorful. The chicken, proscuitto, caprese paninis were fresh, perfectly seasoned and filling. I chose rich tirimusu cups and cup cakes for dessert. The addition of juicy cherries, peaches and watermelon made for a perfect summer picnic. Truly authentic cuisine prepared with care and expertise. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding!! First time I order here I had a lasagna, salad amazing flavor! My husband ordered tortellini filled with Mortadella he really liked it!! And everything is fresh! It arrived hot! Hopping of dinning in someday soon! And maybe taking some cooking classes.

I have been curious about this little spot behind the Market for a few months but the stars never seemed to align until recently when we happened to be back in the area and looking for a bite to eat. I won't lie, I had low expectations given the location and my high bar for pasta, but can't seem to resist the siren song of fresh pasta, wherever it may be. The owner of the joint, Federico, seated us promptly and gave us a rundown of the menu options and we were both sold on the bolognese (my fiancé with the tagliatelle and for me with the ravioli). After taking my first bite I was in heaven. I hate to admit it but I am such a bolognese snob and the sauce was one of the best I've had! The cheese ravioli underneath were no less impressive and the portions were beyond generous (I had to take half of it home to eat for breakfast the next day!). I tried some of my fiancé's tagliatelle and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente with that chewy mouth feel that makes for the optimal carb loading experience. Throughout it all, Federico made sure we were comfortable and safe, taking all COVID precautions very seriously. I am so glad we decided to stop in to Tortellino instead of defaulting to the standby of the Poke spot inside the Market and can't wait to go back for more!

Federico prepared his signature Affogato. Gelato in coffee with cannoli.... I'm in heaven. Will definitely be a regular at this place. He is inside Twitter Bldg next to Northern Ducks and The Market.

One of my favorite spots in the City for a quick and authentic Italian bite. Get the lasagna whose handmade with love by the owner Federico, following the traditional gramma recipe, it'll blow your mind! ??

After playing beauty parlor this morning at Steel+Lacquer, I crossed the street for a coffee. My hairdresser was jones'n to me about wanting a chocolate croissant, so I looked for baked goods too. While my intention was a pour over coffee, I ended up here. The drip coffee was deliciously robust. I grabbed the last of two chocolate croissants and scurried back to the salon. My stylist texted me and said it was fabulous. Guess I'll stop in again in six weeks when I play beauty parlor!

Owner Federico’s hospitality is above and beyond. Love this place.

Everything tastes good in that little restaurant. The raw material is imported from Italy which makes all the difference! You have to try it to understand :) One of the best Italian in SF!!

Try the lasagna! Absolutely the best in San Francisco! The staff is super nice and the location too. It is rare to find a true Italian restaurant but this is the one

Charming place, fair prices, pleasant host and delicious food. This unpretentious stall at the edge of The Market was a nice surprise! Federico was gracious despite the strains put on his new branch due to the pandemic. I hope more people get to know about this place and support it! (I also agree with a previous reviewer about the lack of signage/exposure for this place - as of October 2020, the website of The Market didn't have them listed in their directory.)

I hate giving bad reviews but this one left me with a bitter experience. I was looking for a quick grab and go pasta spot and this one had some pretty good reviews. My order was accepted, I was super hungry but excited to pick it up. I waited in the car until I was notified that my order was ready. Then I head towards the spot which was in one of the high rises in SF, the neighboring shops and the grocery store inside the building were cute but I get to Tortellino, I don't see anyone and it looks abandoned. I ask around about the store and no one knew anything, I wait for a few more minutes for someone to show up and just declared it closed, since that's what it looked like. I had to call Yelp to let them know the posted hours were incorrect, thankfully I was refunded. Definitely felt defeated but I hope if I ever go back to this spot I get to actually try the food and give it another review.
