Alejandro is the best bartender in the world
I hosted a graduation dinner for 30 people at Toy Soldier, and the experience was outstanding. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and delicious. The service was impeccable, particularly Arturo, who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and that everyone enjoyed themselves.
We were provided with a fantastic private room featuring its own restrooms, making it very convenient for our large group. The fully stocked private bar with a dedicated bartender elevated the evening even more, adding an extra level of enjoyment and convenience.
I highly recommend Toy Soldier for any special event. The entire experience exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return
Loved our private event at toy soldier. Our bartenders Alejandro and Arturo took care of our entire party! Would recommend for an event
Alejandro is a great bartender. Great night.
Stop by and say hi to the most friendly staff ever and you absolutely must try the pork chop and lamb chop as they are the best on the planet!
The most amazing food and also the people that work here. Such a cute place located on the historical Belden Place alley
What a great find. We were acknowledged as soon as we entered the restaurant. Our waiter Johnny was hilarious. Had so much fun. Food was spot on.
Small restaurant. Very nicely decorated. Service was slow but they were friendly. Food was average.
WE all love Toy Soldier ! The food and drinks and especially the people that work there are all incredible!
Stopped in to try a bowl of mussels and garlic fries during their happy hour. It's nice that they're reviving Belden Lane, where we haven't dined since many years pre covid, back when Plouf was in full swing. It was empty during our 4:30 seating, so we grabbed some stools and met Arturo working the bar. Mussels in broth were great, and he was kind enough to offer us a side of bread to enjoy with it. Upstairs area is also great for small private events, which includes a small bar and restrooms. Appreciate the tour! Looking forward to returning soon.

A hidden gem in SF. A friendly & relaxing classic American boho style bar/restaurant. Really decent portion sizes at very reasonable prices. Fried chicken was a highlight for me, plus the humorous bartender is generous on measures and makes a mean cocktail. This is a great place to go with friends and family.

Really enjoyed my lunch. Sat at the bar and had the salmon. The server/bartender, Anthony, was great. Food was quick and tasty and my cocktail was delicious! I'll be back.
Had a private event here and Christian was amazing, so helpful and made the party better! Highly recommend
I cannot recommend this place enough for large group events. But what makes it super special is the service you get here. Shoutout to Alan for taking care of our 100+ corporate event. You were awesome.
