Great food, great drinks, great service, great atmosphere/ambiance. Can't ask for more than that!
Excellent lunch and very cool spot tucked into a hidden away alley of restaurants and bars
We were a table of 6 on our way to the Warriors/Miami Heat Game at Chase Center. A friend had previously recommended Toy Soldier. I warned our Server that we were on a tight schedule and he really got things going fast. Even thought it was after Lunch/before Dinner our Server had everything under control. 3 of us had delicious cocktails-2 Old Fashioned's w just 1 smooth square ice cube in each glass-1 other person had a perfectly made Aperol Spritz. We brought 2 bottles of nice wine and had glasses immediately which were filled right then. 1 of our young companions had a virgin mai tai that he said was perfect. We started with 6 appetizers. The Garlic and Sweet Potato Fried were perfectly prepared and enjoyed especially by our young companion. The Red Mussel's with a delicious garlic and shallot broth and dipping baguettes portions, the Heirloom Tomato Burrata w the garlic basil balsamic glaze-yummy, 24 Washington Oysters (tasted so good w the red wine mionete dip and a splash of Tabasco) that cost $24-what a deal. We also had the perfectly roasted Brussels Sprouts with a red onion brown butter sauce. After all that wonderful food was shared, we decided to split 3 entree's-The Fried Chicken-crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, which our young guest enjoyed immensely, the White Ravioli with a mushroom shallot garlic cream sauce which was divine, and the NY Steak w a peppercorn cream sauce cooked perfectly to a medium rare. Our water bottles were refilled immediately and all the food came out perfectly prepared and heated. Our service was impeccable and our dining experience was excellent. We most assuredly will stop in again when we have another event to attend to at Chase or Oracle in San Francisco. I accidentally left my Wine Bag that had an extra bottle in it and had sentimental value to me by our table. I didn't realize until we got back home after the game. I left a message for Johnny/Manager, who had it ready to grab the following day. Class act.
We visited on a quiet early evening. The food and service were top notch. We enjoyed the oysters and goat cheese salad to start; both were excellent. For the main we had the Sea Bass and pork chop. The portions were generous and prepared perfectly. We will definitely go back again.
The staff was extremely kind and service was very quick! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were pleasantly full afterwards. Definitely coming back here to try the rest of the appetizers as well as the cocktails!
We went for the $1 Oysters and everything else was just amazing! I had the best pork chop I have ever had and all the employees were so nice! They make phenomenal drinks as well!
We had the best experience and will be back! The food and staff were incredible and the place is so welcoming.
The food was INSANE!!!! The drinks were amazing, the service was awesome- 5 stars all around!
If I could give this restaurant a ZERO, I absolutely would! Our team made the huge mistake of booking this place for an offsite with 120 people, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish.
1. Ridiculous Price, Pathetic Experience: We paid an outrageous $120 per person, only to be shoved outside on cheap plastic chairs.
2. Unbelievable Wait: We waited a mind-numbing 2 hours and 40 minutes for the main course. That’s right—almost THREE HOURS for food!
3. Insulting Portions: For 120 people, they served a few lamb chops, steaks, some salmon, and pasta—barely enough for 80 people. Each dish was a single plate for over 10 people, so by the time it reached us, there was NOTHING left.
4. People Left Hungry: Nearly half our team gave up and left before any real food arrived.
5. Overcharged and Underserved: After people left, they still charged us for 120, so the actual cost per person was over $180 for this nightmare.
6. Horrible Service and Attitude: The staff treated us like we were a nuisance, not customers. The environment was terrible, the service was worse, and the food was a joke.
This place is a scam. They took our money, gave us nothing in return, and treated us like fools.

Best Burata app ever. We all had sandwiches, everyone was happy with their meal and service was great.

I was here Saturday and had a great time and really enjoyed the atmosphere there. I forgot my skateboard there and they held on to it for me over the weekend and had it waiting for me. I really appreciated that. Thank you

My simple pleasures are a burger, fries and wine on a sunny day. Cute location in Belden Place, delicious food, beautiful wine and friendly service. Thank you Omar for providing a fun foodie experience!
Sitting outside was a bit too cold even with the outdoor heater & the chairs were not the most comfortable but, it was so worth it because the dinner was very good. Next time I will push harder to sit indoors on those better chairs.

Our group of ten had a perfect evening last night at Toy Soldier. Everything was fabulous. The atmosphere was charming and quiet, the food was amazing and the service was excellent. Attentive but not over-bearing. I definitely will be back soon.
Nice meal. Seems very bar focused and could up their dining ambiance, but food and drinks are very good and staff was excellent.
