Had the Super Bowl during the Sunset night market. I thought the fish quality was amazing and it was well cut, but there was uni advertised as an ingredient and no uni on the bowl! Other than the fish there was a nice helping of marinated vegetables.

I was so impressed with this place. I placed a pick up order and it was ready pretty quickly. The place is very nice and clean inside. The staff were all very friendly. The raw marinated oysters were absolutely delicious and had big pieces of oysters. The marinate itself is so good and had the perfect balance of citrusy, salty and spicy. I will definitely be coming back whenever I visit the area!

Got the super bowl with Tuna, Hamachi, Salmon, and Uni. Ate the whole dang thing. Details: Fish: all super tender texture. Very fresh. No fishy odor. No sinewiness of the meat. Uni: melted like butter. A very light sweet flavor, and no fishiness. I was most impressed with that as I am generally very sensitive to uni and if it doesn’t taste great it is usually very foul. This one passes my test Rice: the grains were not mushy and has a proper firmness to it. It could have been a bit better, but I did eat it about 20 minutes after purchasing so the rice grains could have softened or got clumpier over time.
Overall, very satisfied with the meal. Will definitely come back.

This place was simply magnificent. The inside of the restaurant looks beautiful and clean. Staff is friendly and professional. The plating for my bowl was simple and beautiful. I didn't think I could be so impressed with the small details. The rice was amazing. Cooked perfectly and extremely tasty. The salmon was beautiful and tasted amazing! I was surprised by the mushroom that was also in the bowl. That's the first time I had been equally impressed with the main protein and the sides that lined the bowl next to it. Its allot of craftsmanship for the money.

This was a really good place, I ordered the unagi donburi, and it was really tasty. I did have a problem with the lid of the bowl, as it did cut me, (which I think is just me but let me know if anyone else has a problem) but other than that, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a quick eat on Irving. Please check out Tuna House!
