Twas our first time here. Service was so slow and our drink came when we are done eating. So disappointing. They might be short in the kitchen and dining area but still disappointing to wait very long for the food to come out, and for the drinks that came after we finished our food. We also ask for another bowl of rice but it never came. They gave us pitcher of water but no glass, the big scoop for the soup has food stain on it that’s hard to come of and the stainless utensils have white stains on it. My soju drink doesn’t even taste like it has soju. It was $10 for drinks with soju and $8 for cocktails. Over priced and not even that great. We ate at the patio and our corn with cheese suddenly had a tiny spider on it. Over all not satisfied with this experience. Food is all over priced. That bathroom is also clogged.
We went there during lunch time and sat outside. The environment was so cozy and calm. The food came fast and was just right! The service was great. The wall is full of little story about the restaurant and it’s so cute. Love the place and will recommend.

the service was great, environment was cozy with the outdoor picnic seating. the fry on the wings wasn’t super even, and a bit too saucy for the gochujang one. the soondubu was good, not super spicy or oily. the bulgogi was ok, a bit tough but not too sweet.

I have yet to find a good korean place in san francisco. I thought the food was just okay and the prices were above average.
Kimchi fried rice: pretty good with some crispy pieces of rice but nothing extraordinary
6 pc fried chicken (soy sauce): Very disappointing to me. We got the soy sauce ones and they were so salty with no balance of flavor. The texture was average and they were very overpriced in my opinion
Sul lung tang: Pretty good. The beef was nothing special but the broth was quite comforting and the noodles were good.
The banchan was kind of weird with the kimchi brocoli and the kimchi liquid was very thick, almost like slime. I did like the quail eggs though.
Overall, would not come back considering the quality and price.

Just average. The rice was dry and the noodles in the sullungtang was not glass noodles but rice noodles. The kimchi was not that flavorful and the seafood pancake was a bit greasy and bland but at least it was crispy. There were only two slices of meat in our soup. Seemed like Korean fusion not authentic Korean.

So we’ve had this place on our list for awhile and we’re finally able to try it last week. I have to say, I’m a bit disappointed with the food. We were excited because it was Michelin guided and it was more upscale Korean food, but it wasn’t that great. Especially for the price. Presentation was nice but quality of food was super mid. Honestly not even mid, it was pretty low. The rice was dry (big no no), the pork belly was waaay too salty/marinated and the rockin roe was also salty. We also tried the bone marrow and corn cheese, but it was really the corn cheese that stole the show. Our server hooked us up with a lychee soju pitcher on the house tho so that was nice. Overall, I think the vibe and staff really made the experience, but we wouldn’t go here again if we’re craving Korean food. Guess that’s why it’s better in a more casual setting! Given the area though, it definitely makes sense they cater to a more whiter neighborhood and wealthier customer base.
For future reference: Ollei, 707 Sutter, Zzan, Han II Kwan, JiJime are quality, cheaper and fireeee spots!

Really delicious Korean food!! Little expensive, but portion sizes are big. They have fried tofu for vegetarians. Kimchi is fresh and delicious!
If you do DoorDash, a meal ends up coming out to about $40.
Vegetarian options: Tofu on the bibimbap, fried rice and more!

We made a reservation at 7pm but only got seated at 7.25pm, the reason cited was that there were no tables available - why take reservations if you're not going to honor them?
7.10pm - we were told that the table meant for us was finishing up and would be ready in 5-10 mins.
7.15pm - we were instead offered to squeeze at a table meant for 4 people, which we declined. We were told that the people at the table were done eating but did not show any intentions of leaving soon.
7.20pm - we walked to the back with the intention to see if the tables would've been bigger so we could make a decision on whether to accept the offer to squeeze. The hostess aggressively accused us of intending to chase the diners away, of which we had no intention of doing - this soured the mood for the night
One suggestion could be to institute a time limit for dining and let diners know that they will need to give up their table by a certain time so that this unpleasant situation can be avoided

Love the kalbi and seafood pancake. The purple rice and soups are great too! I did not love the kimchi fried rice as it was odd to be made with purple rice. Appreciate the friendly service. The atmosphere is quite casual.

A lot of locals go there, so I went there thinking I was being fooled, but I was disappointed. Especially the kimchi pancake, which was surprisingly tasty because the kimchi had been washed. It's expensive and it's hard to call it Korean food.

The food is OK, 3.5 stars. But it is overpriced, lacks authenticity, and it takes a long time. It takes a long time I infer because they seemed understaffed and really busy and rushed. I recommend coming here if you don’t have many options, and be prepared to spend a long time. Alternatively, order takeout well ahead of time.
