Uncle Vito's is a name that sings like Italy and we expect to hear "mama mia" behind the scenes, but at the counter, after English, the second living language spoken there is especially Spanish. I think that the pizza makers behind the counter have more Latin blood than Sicilian blood, but no matter, they have mastered this skill perfectly and whether they are Greek, Tia Mia or Red Eye, they are very good...and spicy for some.
On the other hand, what is spicy for everyone is the price, because even to take away, it costs on average $17 for a small, $22 for a medium and $31 for a large pizza. Also useful to remember that here all prices are announced excluding tax and that you must add the tips (tip) if you consume on site. It is therefore better not to have eyes bigger than your stomach and to settle for an average pizza for two, which is more than enough for a standard stomach. The take-out option can also be practical because the restaurant is small and there can be a wait at peak times.

For America, the pizza is really good. Crispy, hot and well seasoned. The staff were also very friendly, they immediately welcomed us and seated us. The place was full, it was Saturday. The waiting times were quite short. The guy who took the lead, (he looks a bit like Prince Harry) was really nice. They serve the pizzas on a tray that stays hot. We also had two cold beers. It's a place I highly recommend.

The pizza was awesome, but I have to mention the turkey sandwich as well. Best bread ever!! Alejandra was a gem and worked her tail off to give us the best service. Thanks!! 😋😋😋
SPECTACULAR!
The best pesto I have ever eaten. I ordered Fettuccini with pesto and it was spectacular. My partner had cheese ravioli with pesto and he also said it was spectacular and his brother spaghetti with broccoli and also great. They also gave us garlic bread and it was incredible. 100% RECOMMENDED

Menu prices have been updated.
Quiet atmosphere, great flavors. The only thing to improve is service.

This is probably the best pizza place in the neighborhood. I always get the Red Eye pizza, and the quality is always good and the pizza is delicious.

I was looking out the window of my hotel and saw Uncle Vito's from my room. So I figured I would look them up and they had an online ordering system, so I decided that I would get some food from there after work the following day.
Glad I did. The best Calzone I have had in years. Like a Jersey/NY Calzone that I am used to. I have lived all over and it is crazy that I finYd the best Calzone in years in downtown San Francisco.
Walked in, picked up my order, and told them thank you. Everyone was friendly and the place was packed.
Honestly one of the best decisions I have made throughout my business travels. Unc V really hooked it up, I don't go to pizzerias for pizza I go for all the other stuff that comes with a good location. Did not disappoint at all.

I loved this pizzeria. Very delicious pasta and pizza, I recommend it both to eat there and to take away.

The fettuccine pesto is so good! However they serve wine in a small glass which was off putting. The cheesy garlic bread wasn’t too great. The service was slow.

Local pizzeria. Apparently it’s always full. Man I was disappointed by that lasagna. So much sauce with no pasta. Didn’t have any spice to it and the table had no chili flakes, had to steal it from another. The server was way too busy to handle us, even though there were <10 tables.
Asked for soda water with fresh lemon, instead got soda water with artificial lime juice.
Salad was not good. Canned beans and lettuce. No flavour.
Garlic bread tastes stale.
Really wanted to love this place, it’s not too expensive, ~23 pp, but nothing blew me away and the service is not great. Better get it to go.

The food is good but then the service is terrible... they take the plates away from you and bring you the bill even though you haven't finished eating. And they point out to you that you don't tip enough and all that without a smile!
