As a first time traveller through San Francisco International Airport, I stopped off into Union Street Gastropub at SFO and had an amazing experience. Thanks to you excellent customer service of Amanda B, she was not only hard working but truly cared about the customers there. Keep up the excellent work Amanda and team! Highly recommend this place for anyone transitting through SFO.
The pricing of this place is ridiculous. It is the self scan QR code for ordering, which is annoying to start with, but then they tack a $1.99 service fee and suggest a 20% tip ! The boldness of adding on fees and high tips for literally do it yourself service is crazy to me. I don't know what the owners of this place are thinking.
Had the steak frites. Wanted it medium, ordered medium rare like I always do unless I'm at a premium steakhouse. The cut was a tri-tip. It was a bit small but it was tasty. Fries were pretty good. Service was prompt, friendly and quick.
