I’ve been there once with my friend for dinner. The food was amazing and the service great.
I loved it so much that i went back for lunch another time. I ordered a lunch menu (the picture), which was generous and delicious.
Thank you Minh for your warmth and kindness. You made my day more beautiful.
Btw, the string beans are must to try. You’ll fall in love with them.

TLDR: the xlb were a bit in the dry side without enough soup, the jeen bao had surprisingly more juice and soup
The xlb weren’t that great for me, though they looked perfectly wrapped. The mini pan fried bao were actually much better, had a nice crispy bottom and were very moist.

long waiting time delivery
not good
I wish I could give this place zero stars. The moment we walked in, there was a couple complaining loudly about how bad the service was—and honestly, that should’ve been our first sign to turn around and leave. I genuinely regret not listening.
It took 20 minutes just for someone to take our drink order, and during that entire wait we were never given menus. We sat there completely ignored. The sad part is, the first time I came here about two years ago, the service was excellent. They used to be a solid 4-star spot in my book. Today proved that this place has absolutely gone downhill.
When they finally brought the drinks, they were wrong. Not even close to what we ordered.
Because nobody bothered to give us menus, we ordered our food online, and we made it EXTREMELY clear that the only reason we ordered online was because no one would give us menus—but that we wanted to dine in. We repeated it several times. The staff acknowledged it.
Then the food came out fully packaged as takeout. And when we politely asked if they could plate it for us since we were dining in, they refused. They actually refused to plate the food. They forced us to eat out of plastic takeout containers inside the restaurant after we told them—multiple times—that we were dining in. The amount of waste from all the packaging was unnecessary and honestly shocking.
They ignored us the entire time. We should’ve taken the hint from the couple who warned us on the way in.
If that wasn’t bad enough, we had to ask for our drink bill four or five times before anyone brought it. The level of disorganization and indifference from the staff is honestly unbelievable. At the very least, they could have comped the messed-up drinks as a gesture of goodwill, but they didn’t even attempt to make the situation right.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in San Francisco. I will never come back here and I would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s sad to see how far this restaurant has fallen.
United Dumplings used to be great. Now it’s just a mess. Avoid.

United Dumpling was great. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share, Five Treasure soup dumplings, veggie potstickers, shrimp and chicken truffle dumplings, mushroom tempura, crispy tofu, green beans, cucumber salad, sesame balls, and mapo tofu.
My favorites were the tofu, the mushroom tempura, and the rainbow soup dumplings. Everything came out fast.
Good for groups, vegan/vegetarian friendly. They also serve tea, wine, and soju. Definitely an easy go-to dumpling spot.

I stopped here on a lark for some quick lunch with my girlfriend. I was blown away. The 3-piece BBQ pork bao is not to be missed. Hot, fluffy, and with a good amount of meat. The sauce was sweet and smoky. Paired with some spring rolls, I was stuffed. Well done, and I'll be back next time I'm in SF!

My favorite dish is the pea shoots except when it’s too salty, so tell them less salt. Sui Mai is good too. Least favorite is Curry fried rice.

Loved our dinner. Seated immediately, two adults and two teenagers around 8pm Friday night. Service was quick and kind. We got soup and truffle chicken dumplings, ginger wings, mapo tofu, pork buns. All were delicious. Hot chai tea was tasty. Food came quickly. Super hot and fresh.
