Wonderful wine bar in a cute neighborhood. Great wines, great service, great food.Parking: Parking isn't bad, measured against San Francisco standards - street parking is usually available on West Portal Ave and in the adjacent neighborhood

A date night, weeknight, and small group gem! Went to Unwine'd for a date night. Food was good, tried a few of the appetizers..the hot pepper feta (with a name I did t even try to pronounce!) was really good. Innovative pizzas and a few glasses of wine made for a great night out. Service, also good - our server found the right balance of leaving us be and getting us what we needed. Very knowledgeable of the wine list and made some great recommendations!Ambiance- the front dining room and bar are pretty casual but the back room with the fireplace and chesterfields is really sweet and had a fun vibe. Even though we were seated next to a relatively large/loud group we were still able to speak comfortably.

Really wanted to like it as I had my wedding reception there and my husband recently passed. Came in on a Friday around 4:30 - ordered a glass - was going to have food but couldn't get their attention. Found them a little curt and frustrated as they were tying bags behind the bar. Definitely not welcoming or friendly. Perhaps just a busy moment. May try again for old time's sake. 10 mins tried to catch their attention. Would give 2.5 but that's not an option so let's round it up.

We came here around 5:30pm on Saturday. The place was pretty empty but filled up quickly. We picked a Pinot for our first glasses but was disappointed to learn that their tap was not working. We tried two different italian reds and a couple of french wines, all were very good!We were most pleased with the food! Turns out some of the items on the menu were from the Orexi Greek restaurant nearby that that had closed. We got the Salumi and Charcuterie board, the Octopus and a Pinsa. Everything was solid! We would have given this place 5 stars but the service experience was a bit off. Our server Desiree was fantastic. As the place filled up she was running around crazy trying to take care of the guest while the two other staff in the restaurant did little to help her out. One gal was chitchatting about cosmetics while the other person was labeling and pricing wines..something IMO that could be done during downtime. Overall the food and wines were superb so we'll be back.

Great ambiance and delicious wine. Low-key spot to hang out with friends for happy hour or on a casual date..We usually like to get the "Grecco Pinsa" and the charcuterie boards are delicious

Walked by this spot several times while walking around West Portal. Finally decided to try it tonight. First of all, it's kind of unassuming from the front, but once inside it's beautifully appointed and very comfortable. I'd like to know who their designer is as I'd like to hire them to do our home. Anyway, we visited on a beautiful day and all the windows were open. It was still happy hour and I was glad to see that some of the wines were on tap! We both got a glass of white and got a good pour. Both wines were really good. We also ordered a salad and a margarita pinsa (which is like a flat bread pizza). Both were delicious. Very light and flavorful. Service was good and prices were reasonable. I think we will be back for a visit in the near future!

Delicious - if a little pricey - Mediterranean food. Highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable, upscale good time. Fantastic wine selection, we especially appreciated the old world wine availability.

Stopped in while walking off dinner with H, son no. 1 and his S/O. Really nice atmosphere - dark, quiet, with music in the background. Everyone had some wine and we chatted for a bit. Very relaxed vibe, and friendly service. If you have time/not rushed, this is a nice place to take a quick breather.

Was walking through the neighborhood when I was hooked by the aroma of a roasting pig! Unwine'd was celebrating their one year anniversary and I was lucky enough to get a FREE roasted pork sandwich. If things weren't prefect/delicious enough, the service matched the amazing food and welcoming ambiance. As a self proclaimed "harsh critic" I highly recommend this unique and lovely family owned spot for anyone who would likes to be impressed. I WILL be back !!Thank you! Nico
