Solid place for a coffee or juice with lots of indoor seating, which is hard to find on Polk Street. We had some pastries that were ok and a juice that was good. Coffee was decent. Tables with good light were plentiful.Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian options, plus pastries.

My first time here and I think that I like it. I ordered a Chicken Chipotle Sandwich (which is very good) and a White Blueberry Tea iced. I love anything with blueberry. And it was delicious. The only negative thing I can say is that I was wanting to have something in addition to my sandwich like french fries, perhaps some potato chip or even soup but they didn’t have any of those items. The manager spoke with me and said that next week they would be able to offer sides (I think he said chips) with sandwiches. We’ll see. Overall a very nice experience. I will be back.

My husband and I come here often. We love their coffee, smoothies, toasts, and salads/bowls. Their sandwiches are good too, but I wouldn’t recommend them over the aforementioned food items.The family that operates the restaurant is so hardworking and kind. You can tell they truly care about their customers!The only issue we’ve ever had is that previously their menu didn’t list all of the items in the order (I.e. sauces and seasoning on sandwiches). It looks like they’ve now updated their menu to include everything. They are always so nice to modify orders, so if you’re a picky eater I’d recommend confirming what is in/on a particular food item and asking for any modifications as needed.Dietary restrictions: They can modify orders to meet your needs

The last thing I expected to pay for on Polk street in San Francisco was an inedible salad. Seriously ? How hard is it to make a salad ? Just big chunks of vegetables like raw broccoli thrown in, full "baby carrots", unpleasant BIG pieces of cabbage, all on a bed of big pieces of uncut kale, everything tasted like it came straight out of a plastic bag and had seen better days. The salad dressing was disgusting. That it's priced like an organic salad but isn't, just added insult to injury. I took a few bites and threw it out but it still managed to give me indigestion all night.

They back their own break, cake, cookies. The banana bread is to die for. The brother and sisters who run the place are so welcoming. The Ambience on Polk Street is my favorite. Their cappuccino and Kale Juice are simply outstanding
If you’re looking for a healthy breakfast I can recommend upfardayz on Polk St. Fresh food and good espresso.
