Tasty food but expensive considering what you get for the price
Great food, speedy service, and reasonable prices. Don't be intimidated by the big menu, its mostly just different protein options for the 14 or so dishes they have

I ordered lamb biriyani It was tasteless , Extremely bad quality , I couldn’t eat.
No good piece of lamb there.

First day in SF, thought about ordering something simple and easy around soma square. Ordered chowmein. Chowmein could have been better, it came bland, with less sauces and species.

Recommended dishes: Half Tandoori Chicken, Mutter Paneer, Fried Chicken Momo 4 Pieces, Aloo Tikki
Paneer Makhani (medium), Butter Chicken (mild), gulab jamun, rice pudding
Gulab Jamun was warm and delicious.
Paneer makhani was bland and it didn’t take like the paneer was actually cooked in the sauce.
Rice pudding looked great, but it tasted burnt? Like some of the rice had burned and maybe they scraped off the edible parts? But it still tasted really burnt.
Will not go back

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Urban Curry on Larkin Street. The food was just atrocious. The Gobi Manchurian was so sweet it felt like I was eating dessert—there was an insane amount of sugar. The Paneer Tikka Masala was drenched in some unidentifiable oil, and again, everything was way too sweet. It didn’t even taste like proper Indian food. The Egg Chow Mein was honestly the worst part—it was so bad I regretted not grabbing a cheap frozen meal from Safeway instead. As for the naan, they were doughy, undercooked, and borderline inedible. It’s clear these people have no idea how to cook. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs.
