Underwhelming dinner experience. Visited as a party of two and was sat by the wall on the high tables. It’s a small space so they try to make the most of it. Service was quick, and we were in and out.
I should have checked the menu before but basically everything is beef bone broth based or includes beef in the dish. Currently I cannot have beef so this was limiting, and there was only the vegan ramen that worked with my diet. Kinda wild there are no chicken or pork alternatives. My boyfriend got the traditional and felt that it was too oily and just okay. Similarly, I thought my veggie ramen was okay. I subbed the spinach noodles for regular egg noodles as I am not vegan and added an egg as well. We weren’t wowed by broth, noodle texture, nor the dining experience.

Oh My. This is some great ramen!
I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've had beef Ramen with Bone Marrow but it will not be my last.
Started our meal with some flavorlicious beef goyoza with a really nice vinegar dipping sauce.
Then the main course. Got the Spicy Ramen with the Fred Flintstone Bone Marrow and black garlic addition. My god. Welcome to Flavorville! So rich and decadent. It brought me so much joy.
The spice level is nice. Hot, yet still flavorful.
I very much recommend. I am already dreaming of going back.

Cozy, welcoming spot within walking distance of Golden Gate Park. It was a cool and foggy evening, perfect for ramen.
We were going to go with their traditional ramen, but then saw the specials!
So we got the Spicy Miso Kimchi and the Spicy Combo Ramen (their classic Spicy Ramen with added Tan Tan style ground meat).
Great flavors, nicely done noodles, fresh mushrooms, and creamy eggs.
At first I thought it wouldn't be enough food (I have a huge appetite typically), but we left totally satisfied!
Really a great neighborhood spot.

Uncomfortable counter seating. There was no way of enjoying any meal.
The traditional paitain broth was very oily and had no depth of flavor. This flavor was overpowering. The ramen had no resistance and was the most disappointing.
The bone marrow is a unique addition but honestly disappointing.
The egg half was nicely done, both runny and creamy.
I recommend cutting the bone marrow in half and serve in a smaller portion, cutting the oil, and definitely switching to a different noodle.

It pains me to even do less than 5 stars reviews but this had to be done. I don’t know how this place has the rating it does nor do I trust the people’s reviews and their taste in ramen in general. I recently came back from Japan and this place would not even be ranked for good quality ramen. The sweet girl working recommended the Original Shio Ramen and when I got it, it tasted like water and noodles with a ton of bad tasting mushrooms. I told her I could not eat it so she was kind enough to bring the Paitan Ramen which was supposed to be like a Tonkotsu Ramen. It was terrible again with tons of mushrooms and the egg wasn’t even flavorful. I can say it had a tiny bit more flavor and the meat didn’t taste flavorful either! I wish I could’ve just gotten my money back and found somewhere else to eat because I didn’t even finish my food and left. I am so disappointed in wasting my time coming here. This place should not be charging $18 for a bowl of noodles in water. I’m sorry.
