I've only ordered the beef paitan ramen here because that is the restaurant's specialty and they do it well. The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles are perfectly chewy and the bowl is topped with thin medium rare slices of tender beef. The restaurant is pretty small with communal tables and counter-type seating. The place fills up quickly during meals times so if you're going with a larger group of 4 or more, you may want to consider going right when they open.

Visited with my daughter. I got the spicy shoyu ramen with garlic broth. It was loaded with flavor and had nice beef.
The vegan option was decent. Both could have been tastier. But all the ingredients were nice and fresh. My daughter gave it a thumbs up :)

The food was really good I got the spicy ramen and it was perfectly spicy. The food came out fast and service was great. When seated you’re very close to other customers which wasn’t a problem.
Small and cozy ramen spot. They use beef broth, which I find unique. I got the tomato ox tail ramen and my friend got the special shoyu spicy ramen.
The shoyu spicy ramen was not very spicy, it just had jalapenos thrown in the soup.
The broth for the tomato ox tail was very rich and thick. I enjoyed it, the ox tail was tender. There were some bone bits that broke off into the soup that I got in surprise bites with the noodles.
The noodles were springy and the portions were satisfying for both of us.
Since the space is very small, you sit next to other parties. There isn't any sort of partition between parties so it can feel a bit awkward. Our water was never refilled during our meal
There is no bathroom here

Went for dinner last night and decided to try the oxtail ramen for change of pace…meh, plenty of meat but it was just not tender. Stay with the beef filet ramen

Excellent place to get beef ramen. We ordered the traditional paitan ramen and tomato ox tail ramen. Both were very flavorful and satisfying.
The paitan had a soup that was not overly salty, but had a very pleasant aroma that paired perfectly with the truffle topping. The truffle came in just the right amount: not so much as to overpower the soup. It complemented the creamy and peppery flavors of the broth, as well as the roasted beef slices, which were perfectly cooked and seasoned.
The tomato ox tail ramen had a saltier broth reminiscent of tomato soup. The ox tail was incredibly tender and packed with tomato flavor, and the soup paired very well with the noodles. This dish reminded more of Taiwanese style beef noodle soups than ramen, but still very tasty.
In both dishes, the noodles where cooked very well, achieving a satisfying degree of chewiness that I expect in high quality ramen. The eggs were appropriately soft boiled as well, checking all the boxes for a very nice bowl of ramen.

Ushitaro Ramen is a small, somewhat cramped spot, but the food was excellent and worth the visit. Service started off good, but once the place got busy, it became harder to get attention—we even had to flag down our server for the bill. A little disappointing given the size of the restaurant. That said, the ramen itself was outstanding, and I would definitely come back for the food alone.

Always makes my day when I see shio ramen on the menu 🥰 The ramen was pretty good but the gyoza’s wings weren’t very crispy
