Vegan Picnic ia NOT vegan friendly. Deleting reviews because they dont like being called out for a completely non -vegan jab. They really should research what they're supporting, including the deaths (animal & human) that have occured from said regime.

Good choice for people "transitioning" to plant-based diet, but who still want familiar standards they're used to. To offer that, Vegan Picnic serves up a lot of "faux meats" as part of its menu items. That's better than disease-promoting animal flesh, but not the best choice for people wanting their food to be both tasty AND healthful. VP would earn 5 stars if it eliminated the highly refined, junk-food items and ingredients. Bottom line: would I still eat there? Sure!

The business has stated they are supporting medical apartheid and only serving vaccinated individuals as of 27 July.

So disappointed in the food . Very bland and doesn’t taste fresh. Not kid friendly whatsoever

The best cheesecake ive ever had. No lie. Sandwiches are really good, too.

It was a great place to go. We started noticing a difference during 2020. Less packaged items to buy such as no caramel and jerky. Do wish they had more gluten free options. But when they do have gluten free dessert it's amazing! We went here at least once a month, sometimes twice. Some employees were great and others seemed to need more training. As for the food we never had any complaints. It was always made well and for the most part tasted good. The gluten free bun is a bit thick. We went by recently and they will they either moved or closed up shop.

So good- but so hard to get in! Their always busy, and reservations are booked fast! Wish they had a bigger spot to accommodate-but the food is amazing it's definitely worth the trip.

I have been to both locations (SF & Honolulu) and all I have to say is this place is pure bliss for vegans. The best piece of advice I have is to arrive at least a 1/2 hour before the restaurant opens or be prepared to wait for a table as the restaurant is really busy.

Amazing! This place is beautiful, the staff is great and the food is great!! The music is a bit too up-beat/dancy for my liking so I tend to just grab and go - maybe that's what they want.

Seriously insane. Get the flatbread for sure--one of the best flat breads I've had--and this is compared to Flour + Water. The Mezzo Platter was solid, and the google curry was great but the rice was under cooked. Great service! Now one of my new favorite restaurants in San Francisco.

We ordered the risotto and wild seed burger. It was nothing to rave about, but it was a solid meal and I love the atmosphere. This is a great place to go after work with a couple of people.

THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME! definitely coming back.. the atmosphere was comforting, the crowd was diverse, and the good was something to write a review about. the design of th good is pretty much your taste buds, what you want is what you get! overall you should try it for yourself im positive you wont regret it.

I've been meaning to try this place for a while, but I'm sadly disappointed, especially after reading so many great reviews. I'm not vegan, but I enjoy vegan dishes here and there. Unfortunately it didn't quite deliver in my opinion. We tried a couple of things:Chicken N Waffles $7.75Waffles really had no color (I would say they were under) and resembled eggos. Pretty small in size...Ham & Cheese Croissant $6.50This was probably the worst of the bunch. This was definitely extremely undercooked/baked, it was not flaky but rather dough-y. It also tasted reaaaalllyyy sweet for some reason. Weird. We had to throw it in the oven and it still didn't quite save it.Old School Fish Fillet $10.75I think the flavors just simply weren't there... the "fish" was quite bland and the tartar sauce was just ok. I wish the burger buns tasted a bit fresher. ***We tried Next Level Burger (also vegan!) the other day and their fried fish(less) burger was AMAZING. would totally recommend.
