My experience was fantastic. Maybe because coming here was a part of a surprise party for my b'day. It is a magical place, probably very well known among locals, and might be a perfect tourist spot, because of it's atmosphere. It's like a living art nouveau painting and you're the main character.
By far and away the best bar in North Beach and one of the best in the city. This place has a really cool vibe and is nicely decorated. During the week it is usually decently busy, perfect for hanging out at the bar and chatting with friends or a date, but weekends it can get absolutely slammed. Somehow this place is over hyped but sticks the landing. Maybe this comes down to the prices being reasonable and the bartenders seemring to care about the bar and the experience.
