Did you ever have a local place that nobody has heard about but everyone goes to? This is that place. Reliably the best comfort Italian food in the city. Every person within 10 blocks of via Veneto knows Massimo. I defy you to find a better place to eat on a Tuesday night in San Francisco than Via Veneto.
