The best place to get your night started in North Beach. The staff is extremely nice and fast and will provide you with top notch service. There is a pool table in the back of the bar if you love playing pool.

It's a true dive bar in every sense. So don't make it out to more than it is.
It depends on who's working, which in turn decides who comes in and sits at the bar - which in turn decides the mood.
Oh, and YES, dude...I played Knights of Cydonia THREE times.
This is such a sad bar that Joaquin Phoenix used to visit this bar before he became the JOKER. Music is always good and beers are cheap + there is always a spot for you to sit the perfect place for unemployed clowns

It was quite dark inside and not busy, but I met some of my old friends. The bartender seemed very bored.
We had a nice cocktail out of the rain! This is truly an old time neighborhood bar!
