Went to Villon for Sunday brunch and while it was good, it was strange that we were the only people in the restaurant. We were party of 7 and when I called to confirm if I could add an extra person I could not get a hold of anyone on the phone and open table showed that the time a lot was completely booked. We brought the extra person anyway, and since the restaurant was empty there was no problem seating us together. It was just weird that it said it was booked when it wasn't....
Villon before a performance up at the Orpheum has been a tradition for my closest friend for a very long time. The food is delicious the restaurant itself, beautiful and light normally the service is 5 star. They bring some nice twists to the average breakfast. The squash as a breakfast side dish was very nice. My wife loved their club sandwich. However, the eggs did come out a little lukewarm. We wish they had an Eggs Benedict on the menu, I'm sure they would do it well.
