Delicious food and cute atmosphere. Service was a little slow as it seemed like a 3-man show running the entire restaurant, although they were clearly working very hard to keep everything moving. The servers were very friendly, didn’t make us feel rushed, provided great recommendations, and were kind enough to turn on the outdoor heaters upon request. We ate so much, we practically waddled back home. We will definitely eat here again!
This is my go to spot in the Richmond. If I want a chill neighborhood place to get a great cocktail and a bite this is the place. Sit at the bar, watch a game and have a drink and a snack. (Old Bay chips and onion dip!) Or take a date and have a proper intimate evening. Wine, beer, cocktails, they have all of that tough guy! Try the fried chicken or mussels. The Deviled eggs are something else. I can also hear myself think there. Not too noisy. The staff is nothing but friendly...
Food here is absolutely delicious and the vibes are way better under new ownership BUT the service is mid at best, food staff often grumpy. The bartenders here are great and super funny, but there’s some runners/waiters who are grumpy and rude, they always seem annoyed that guests are coming in to eat, they should stop offering 9:30-9:45 reservations if they’re going to be rude when people come in for them. However, the pastelitos and prime rib are my two absolute fav meals...
