Amazing experience! Stopped by and was checking out some teas and exploring the shop. May invited me to have a seat and try some different teas to find something I might like. She took time to explain what each tea was for and the different benefits. Awesome experience and will definitely return to purchase more tea!

I came here to taste test teas and then purchase whichever I enjoyed. First, the store wasn’t open till noon when online it says 11. Eventually I walked in. The man working this morning asked what I wanted and I responded with “I’m getting over a cold. Whatever tea can help with that.” He responded by telling me to go to the herbal store and refused to serve me. Incredibly rude. I left and went down to Ren Ten where 2 incredibly nice women were working. They allowed me to try various teas and I eventually purchased from them. I recommend going there instead of here.

This is a must do when visiting Chinatown! Uncle is fantastic. He's a 95-year-old man who is spunky and spry and does not hold back when sharing his opinion. You definitely have to come with your sense of humor. While sitting at the bar and enjoying all kinds of different teas to taste, he entertains you with personal comments and stories. He even took quite a bit of time out to speak to both of my young adult children and give them a spiel about life lessons. He had some already printed out and gave them to them and made them repeat things that they were going to do or else he was going to come to Ohio and eat their dog. He was hilarious and welcoming all at the same time. We were able to find some tea that we were looking for and had a great experience as well. I recommend this to every single person visiting Chinatown.

This was such a fun experience, to the point where we lost track of time and spent 2 hours there. Sitting and trying multiple teas and chatting with Kenny was educational and hilarious. Some may be put off by the straightforward type of conversation, but he's funny and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend stopping in to sample the teas, but stay for the conversation. If I lived locally, that would be the hangout spot.
