dope place, owner was super cool
This was a highlight for my trip. Walked in just expecting to just buy tea…but no instead got life lessons, a new Chinese uncle, tea tasting, AND quality tea!
Uncle G and his daughter are were kind and knowledgeable. Uncle G went in to talk about the process of each tea they served us and the benefits. You can tell how well loved they are by the returning customers. Took away a lot of lessons from him and we already can’t wait to return.
Been drinking their tea since being home and it’s been very beneficial. Thank you
My group of six randomly stopped in before heading to Napa and had a great experience. We learned quite a bit and purchased a few teas after the ZERO pressure free tasting. No frills, yet highly recommended!
Very awful experience. I walked in and wasn’t greeted at all.
The person behind the counter was rude and dismissive and basically implied that if you don’t know what you want, they won’t help you.
If you’re not already very knowledgeable about tea, I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Take a look at the low-rating reviews — they all mention extreme rudeness.
I do see many good reviews mentioning other hosts, so it’s possible this experience was specific to this particular person.
As a big tea lover, I was super excited to come here and try some new teas and was enjoying the experience until Chris started being SUPER condescending when we asked questions. He definitely knows how to repeat the same informational history of tea, but not helpful in any other regard. Not even helpful information on when we asked for recommendations. Just said tea with fruit is for kids and real tea drinkers drink the true greens and black teas. I was kind of excited to buy some varieties of tea there before that too :( Chris is more of a tea snob than an actual tea lover. I recommend going to another tea shop in Chinatown with actually nice little ol ladies and men to help you out.
Chris was so fun and knowledgeable we had a great tasting and got some fab tea!
The Milk Oolong tastes like milk! Fantastic staff friendly & knowledgeable.
We came here hoping to try some teas, but the owner hurried us to order tea before we could even sit down, and if we didn't know which tea we wanted to not even bother sitting down and to leave because he didn't have time to waste. So unfortunately we had to leave - for a tea tasting Room, you could use better manners
we entered the place without knowing exacly what to expect. as we sat, we were quickly served with tea, and explanations...and then another one, and another one. well, as a tea lover, I fell in love / we bought some tea , and went freshly energized on our way - worth a visit!
Chris was super wonderful educational. We left with two packets of tea and a great experience

Me and my friend had the best experience here! Kenny is such a knowledgeable and friendly host. We had a wonderful tea tasting and learned so much about tea. We got the ginseng oolong tea. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Chinatown!
Cool experience with tea tasting and someone walking you through it all. Big selection of teas to take home if you are into loose leaf!
I didn't expect visiting this tea shop would be an enjoyable visit. Meeting the owner and savoring tea while learning about the benefits of different types of tea I drank was a pleasant experience. I highly recommend people visiting this shop when in China town.
Enjoyed the great teas and will buy more in the future
The guy who was there at 4:30 pm yesterday was the rudest person we have ever met in the US hands down. Seemed racist to us actually, he definitely doesn't like brown people. We got up left and decided not to do it.
