They have great bread. And the croissants, unbeatable, accompanied by an excellent coffee with milk (latte). At the bar is Héctor, a very nice guy from Navarra (Spain). And there is another very friendly Belgian girl who gives you conversation if there is no queue.

It used to be good. The food is still decent, but the atmosphere and service is shocking.Everything is paper plates and paper cups. Can't get a mug of coffee. Don't get food on a real plate. It's takeaway with seating at the best. It's a glaring sign of the degradation of service and quality in America at it's worst.

How anyone could give this restaurant below 5 stars is beyond me!!Best, chillest, casual brunch in San Francisco, with food that is absolutely perfect. After retuning here time after time, it’s finally time to leave my review! The vibe here is very casual, you order up front and then seat yourself. You’re surrounded by a clean airy space with racks of fresh croissants cooling in the corners and a not-too-loud music serenade.Food is so good, I often order it from DoorDash when I’m not able to come in.The croissants are so soft , flaky, taste like they came straight from Europe.Recently I tried the key like croissant and it was so fun and refreshing!Hands down the best egg sandwich in San Francisco. Thick slabs of juicy bacon, perfectly salted egg, generous smears of avocado, and melty cheddar are sandwiched between 2 large slices of lightly toasted fresh sourdough bread. There is also some light magical herbed spread that makes this sandwich truly unbeatable. Can’t get enough of it.I’m known for always saying “I can make this better in my kitchen” when I’m at restaurants, but I can honestly say that there is nothing at Vive La Tarte that I could make better in my own kitchen, coming from a professional baker!

Neighborhood gem! This place is consistently delicious. Love the avocado toast, breakfast sandwich, and orange blossom za’atar croissants, and I always get a hot latte. Charming indoor and outdoor seating and friendly staff.

We ordered a hot cappuccino, but unfortunately, it was barely warm. Even after a short walk, it had already turned cold. Moreover, they made two cappuccinos at the same time, using only one can of milk, which is absolutely unacceptable. We were disappointed with the quality of the cappuccino.

I've missed Vive La Tarte since they left Howard St where I live right around the corner. I don't like the Noe Valley space as much but the breakfast sandwich, orange blossom zatar croissant, and turmeric latte are all still wonderful.

Loved coming here for some coffee and pastry! It has great vibes with nice lighting and the food was great as well! I tried the orange blossom croissant and it was so unique and yummy! Will be coming here more often!

A nice place in the Castro for a quick and casual meal. We went for brunch, and got the “Breakfast Tacro” which is a breakfast taco, but the shell is a croissant shell. Very unique and tasteful but is only sold on the weekends. Also came with a nice sauce on the side. The only thing I would change would be less red onion. Some bites I found the onions overpowered the other tastes of the bacon, egg, avocado, etc. Regardless, I would go back to this place just for the tacro. The cold brew is also a solid choice. I will definitely be back for more tacro’s and to try a different type of coffee.Total for two tacro’s and one cold brew was about $40

Great pastry shop in Noe Valley! Service is quick and it's very clean, light and airy inside. They have an outdoor patio for dining in as well and a self service condiment/ water station. Tried the breakfast tacro which is a unique take on a typical breakfast sandwich. This croissant "taco" is buttery, flaky and paired with folded eggs, bacon, cheese, picked cabbage, avocado (optional), and served with a chili hot sauce. It is one of a kind and a delicious, filling breakfast option. I'll be back to try the chocolate coconut croissant and the almond croissant!

One of my favorite bakeries in the Bay Area! I love taking a morning walk and stopping by this place to grab a coconut chocolate croissant. It's super flaky and you can tell that it was freshly made too! The coconut and chocolate is a great flavor combo as well so it's a perfect little morning treat.

Vive La Tarte seems to be one of the few coffee shops with power outlets. They do not provide free WIFI though if you’re looking to work here. I do highly recommend you try their key lime croissant with thick creamy key lime filling. Superb!
