I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this place pushed me to it. The food at Wasabi Bistro was honestly a letdown from start to finish. The sushi tasted like it had been sitting out for a while, the rice was mushy, and the fish had zero freshness. Even the miso soup somehow managed to be both salty and bland at the same time.

Service didn’t help either. Our server looked annoyed the entire time, forgot half of what we ordered, and took forever to bring out the dishes—only for them to show up cold. For the prices they charge, you’d expect at least basic quality or effort.

The atmosphere wasn’t much better. Tables were sticky, the music was weirdly loud, and everything just felt neglected. Honestly, I’ve had better sushi from a grocery store.

Would not recommend. There are plenty of other places that deserve your money more.

The food was horrible and customer service was even worse. The Tofu was awful and the tempura was half oil. Go to the one in Richmond.

Incredibly poor service. Made it 10 minutes late to our reservation and the customer service was poor. We tried to explain over the phone that our train was delayed and there was nothing we could do. Once we got there the server was rude and turned her back as I talked, refusing to even listen to me. Honestly I felt quite targeted as a Latino because her demeanor changed immediately when she wasn’t talking to someone of Asian descent. Would not recommend going due to poor service.

My friends love this place so I’ve come here multiple times now with them and can recommend. Great place for groups and they can safely accommodate a big group if scheduled ahead. Friends also like the drink options where you can get unlimited drinks in pitchers (all fruity) for a reasonable price, which is a good option for a group planning to drink anyway. All food I tried was quality and tasty. I also like the string lights! I’ve only come in the evening but the restaurant is usually busy and it’s sometimes hard to get ahold of staff. When I sat at a bigger group of people, I had to get up and get more menus and napkins/chopsticks myself because it was hard to flag someone down. Will undoubtedly be coming back.

The food is not bad but I hope the plastic bowels and plates can be replaced. It’s very likely to eat a lot of microplastics when the food is hot inside.

All you can drink is amazing that’s what this place is for. Sushi is good too

Nice restaurant. Open late. Sushi was good with prices that are reasonable. All you can drink for $10.

Wasabi is a fun spot for surprisingly affordable while tasty sushi with a lot of fun energy in the restaurant. If you’re heading out afterwards they have some bottomless deals you should check out.

Not worth it. Way better sushi places in the city.

Such a wonderful place. The menu is huge and there are so many delicious options. The rolls are the best, such variety, all wonderful. Udon rocks, and the specials are award winning.
Enjoy!

The place could use a freshening up and maybe some help from an interior design oriented person. Their sushi rice disappointed us (soggy, cold, overcooked).
