This was a great intimate place to eat and on this day watch the rain. Well timed, happy hour was in session claim chowder was delicious, onion rings and Kobe slider for the win!

The Waterfront Restaurant was a great find during a spontaneous stop this past Sunday. We were out exploring when it started to rain, so we popped in looking for a dry place to hang out while waiting for the weather to pass.
We sat at the bar and ordered a few snacky items, which was perfect for the moment. Everything was enjoyable and exactly what we were looking for without committing to a full meal.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, likely due to the time of day and the rainy weather, which gave it a relaxed, easygoing feel.
The menu had a good variety of options, and it definitely felt like a place where you could come back and try something different each time. There were plenty of items that caught our eye for a future visit.
It was a good stop with a comfortable atmosphere and friendly service. We’ll definitely be coming back to try dinner in the future, especially on a nicer day when we can enjoy the area a bit more.

It felt like we were stepping into another place in time where service was immaculate, music and ambience was timeless and our server Emery was so helpful, accommodating us with wine preferences for our meal. We loved this restaurant and the best part was it was affordable with class from the hostess to your seat, a rare commodity these days

Tasty food. The service was ok. Polite but took forever to get their attention and the restaurant was barely at half capacity (Wednesday night)

You must try the seafood when visiting SFO, so do we!! Intentionally search for a good one with a nicer view, thus that we can walk a bit after eating, we have eventually chosen The Waterfront Restaurant!!
We went there on a Thursday night, and the restaurant was surprisingly full. Fortunately, we had reserved a table via google map/ OpenTable, so only a few minutes of waiting to be seated.
The vibes were great, seafood was fresh. Local white wines are not overpriced. We can now confirm that we have picked a good restaurant in town ☺️

This might be the worst tourist trap I’ve ever experienced! We drove an hour to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. She picked the restaurant and couldn’t even pretend from the first course to last, it was awful!! I could cook a better dinner than this place!

Very pleasant experience, staff went above and beyond. Will be coming here again great food!
As per usual when we dine here, the food and service were excellent. We enjoy coming here because it is consistently good. The added point this time was the beautifully clear evening with views of the east bay, the bay bridge, and the ferry building. It is rare to see everything so clear and bright with no fog.

The salad greens were warm and old and discolored in my salad and it was underdressed. More dressing was provided but it lacked the parmesan flavor. Our waiter was not very attentive and we had to try to flag someone down to bring our bread. Refill drinks. It was very disappointing as we were entertaining guests from out of town. The sad part was that our reservation was for 4:30 pm and the restaurant was not busy. So I am unclear as to why service was so bad.
It was a little while since I visited one of my old favorite haunts and we were headed to the "No Kings March, so I made a reservation. What a great idea! We were greeted with a true sunshine smile from the lovely Sophia. She's a gem. Next we were seated in the best table and handled like VIP's by an elegant staff of professional servers. It felt good to have 4 to 5 people attending to our needs. The oysters were perfect as were our drinks. I believe our waiter's name was Henry without the "H." Charming spirit, light and alert with a terrific smile. You have an exquisite staff, Waterfront. I shall return sooner than later.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, and the seafood is incredibly delicious. The clam chowder, in particular, is the best.
I'm in town for a conference and stopped in here for oysters, and wow, it did not disappoint! Marco, you were wonderful. The raw oysters were delicious. The baked, even better! And the salad, so fresh and tangy. My wine was amazing, the service was superb, the atmosphere cheerful and lovely. The pumpkin creme brulee topped it off and made it the best meal I've ever had alone. Thank you for a delicious evening!

Food was excellent and well presented. Service was friendly. View was amazing - a clear night on SF bay. Best seat in the house.
