View and location of restaurant were amazing. We ordered 3 different bottles of wine and all of them and bartender were awesome. Disappointed in service and food. Service was slow, they delivered our appetizers with no plates. We were missing a table service and took me going to the bar to get these things handled although we spoke to 2 other employees. Some of the plates came out with cold food and quality of steak was not great for the price. We will definitely come back for one more try determine if it may have been a bad night for them.

We really enjoyed the dinner. Was a little glitch initially waiting for service but John stepped up and really made the experience. Good was delicious and was very reasonable.

We've dined here numerous times in the past and have always had a good experience. While the food this time was good per usual, 2 things worked against us having a better experience: 1. our waitress had an attitude and made us feel like she did not want to be there. She made a mistake on the wine order bringing sauvignon blanc instead of cabernet sauvignon, and was generally not welcoming. 2. The cabernet was ice cold! Upon leaving I asked the bartender if this was normal and surprisingly she said yes it was. The house red wines (Daou) came in a keg and were thus refrigerated. She invited us to purchase a bottle of the reserve if we wanted it at the proper temperature. That was a first for us!

This is a beautiful setting. Dining outdoors can be very pleasant. And sitting around the fire pit listening to the music after dinner is a lot of fun. The food is average but not overpriced. If you like something spicy go for the chili!

Truly a gem with an outstanding menu, excellent service standards, wonderful ambiance & decor, a shaded patio, and a view of their golf course, water features, and fountain hills picturesque area is THE BEST in Maricopa County! Check out their daily & weekly specials too.

Beautiful setting with good food and service except they had a band that was way too loud couldn't even have a conversation - even politely tipped the band and asked them to turn it down a little bit, but they didn't. Table next to us asked to move as far away as possible.

While catching up with a friend in the Castro District, he suggested his usual drinking spot, Copper Bar. We arrived at 5pm on a Saturday, and by 5:30pm, the place was bustling. Most patrons left by 7pm, likely heading to dinner, making this a popular pre-dinner spot. (Btw they serve food too.)

The speciality cocktails are the highlight here. My friend raved about them, and I wasn’t disappointed. I tried the cider version of mulled wine with cinnamon, and it was delightful — perfect for the season.

What I Like:
- Amazing speciality cocktails.
- Friendly and attentive bartenders.
- Cozy, local vibe that makes you feel welcome.

What Can Improve:
- Limited seating can be a challenge, but it’s part of the bar’s charm.

Pro Tips:
- Arrive early to snag your preferred seat, especially if you want to sit at the bar.
- Watching the bartenders work their magic is a treat, so bar seating is highly recommended.
- Don’t miss their speciality cocktails — they’re what Copper Bar is known for.

Overall:
Copper Bar delivers on all fronts: cozy decor, friendly service, and outstanding drinks. It’s no wonder it’s a favorite among locals. Definitely worth visiting when in the Castro District.

This is my favorite place to go to in the Castro. Whether it’s to meet some friends for food and catch up or come by myself, have a glass of wine and chat with the bartenders. Speaking of bartenders each one that works here is incredible. They’re always so nice, and super fast with service. If you’re in the Castro and haven’t checked out Copper Bar, you’re missing out.

Great food and atmosphere, but they never answer their phone or offer online check out for to go orders.

Be ready for a 7% hidden junk fee surcharge on top of what the menu lists for prices. 3% for "S.F. Mandate" and 4% for "Non Cash Adjustment".

I got the fried chicken sandwich and it was fine.
