We got the beef chow fun and sesame chicken. It came out piping hot and full of flavor. The noodles were delicious and the beef was a good texture. The sesame chicken was crispy and very good- definitely has some spice to it.

Food quality has improved a lot as of late. Really enjoyed the Singapore noodles and Pot Stickers. Wen's has been hit or miss over the years, but made it back into my current go-to for classic American Chinese in the neighborhood, better than Wok Shop or Bamboo.

We got the Basil tofu and Mongolian beef. The tofu was perfect, not too chewy or tough but crispy on the outside. The veggies were really fresh, and the sauces were really excellent. They really did elevate the cuisine over most of what gets in San Jose or Santa Cruz for sure. It's obvious they are more of a take-out place, with skeletal service, the building is really a dump, and the neighborhood is worse, but the food totally makes up for it.

SUCH GOOD FOOD! Omgosh this place ruined me for other Chinese restaurants, such depth of flavor, not too spicy. The homemade pot stickers, the wonton soup and the Thai street noodles were all just fantastic! It was open late and instead of grabbing a drink we came here. It is just fine for the ambiance and service is kind and efficient, but THE FOOD is where this place really shines. I will be back as often as I can.
This is one of the worst services I’ve ever experienced. The lady working there is grumpy and has no patience to answer any questions regarding the menu. The same restaurant is on DoorDash with descriptions stating different types of meat in the same dish and when I ask about it, she was like, don’t look at the menu on Google and just scan QR code which has menu but not the descriptions of any food. I am not open to eat any meat. I just eat chicken. When I asked her for clarification saying I just wanted chicken, she was frustrated. I don’t want to go into a restaurant that treats a customer like this. I have the right to know what I am eating. She’s not feeding me for free. I walked out of the restaurant after this. Not sure how the food is, but she’s definitely the problem.

I want to say this is my favorite Chinese restaurant and sometimes the quality isn’t that great when you order on line , but Wens was beautifully packaged and it came hot and everything was carefully assembled in our bags when the food came to our house at midnight we placed the order I’m telling you it’s so yummy! And the people are very polite and curious I called to let them know I didn’t like hot spicey to much and my Mongolian beef was so perfect I really love this restaurant I will be ordering from now on . At first I thought it was a little high priced but when you taste the food it’s every bit worth the price I’m really happy :)😎
