We ordered an assortment of chowder and starters. Service was very quick with the first food arriving after only a couple of minutes with the Chowder and other plates arriving around 5 min later. The Chowder was nicey seasoned, but as it was the only one I had in San Francisco I could not compare it to other places. I also had some hot wings , which were nicely cooked, tender and juicy, and coated in a spicy tobacco style sauce. I tried one of the order of onion rings but found them too dry, although my friends finished them off.

My husband and I stopped here to get food before checking into our hotel and we got seated pretty quickly. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the jalapeño burger. We were outside so we had to keep an eye out for the pigeons and seagulls. When the food was brought out the waiter noticed the sun had started to hit us directly on the face and he offered to move us so we’d be in the shade, it was very thoughtful of him!

Portions here are ginormous! We started with the Wipeout Nachos with steak as an appetizer, and they were hands-down our favorite…perfect for sharing.

I ordered the El Pastor Burrito, and it was packed with flavor in every bite. My wife got the Baja Fish Tacos and said they were delicious — the best cod she’s ever had!

Overall, great food, generous portions, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely a spot we’d come back to!

Cool little spot with great views of the sea lions and Ferris wheel on pier 39

Food and service are sub par. Servers have a cocky attitude. The atmosphere is good for Pier 39. Don't recommend.

Serving size is huge and definitely worth the price! The meals were tasty, though the chips were a bit oily and the nachos a little sloppy on the plate. The food was well-seasoned, and I really enjoyed the burrito I got. The dining area was quite busy when we visited.

I had fish and chips at Wipeout Bar & Grill on Pier 39, and it was honestly the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. The fish had a very thick batter and barely any actual fish inside — I couldn’t even eat it. I ended up only eating the fries, which were just average, nothing special. I was expecting something fresh and delicious from a seaside fish restaurant, but it tasted more like cheap frozen food. Really disappointing for the location.

Stopped in for drinks on a couple of occasions and then had a late lunch here on our last day. The food was reasonably priced, very tasty and served as massive portions. Good selection of drinks and very tasty cocktails.

Wipeout Bar & Grill is a solid spot! The food was really good, and the wait time wasn’t too long. Overall, a great experience and definitely deserving of 5 stars!

We headed into the city for fleet week which was a spectacle to see. We came for a late lunch (around 3:30) and the place was packed. We have been here before and enjoyed it.

The kids had fish and chips which they devoured which is always great. I had the hot honey chicken sandwich. Which had some weight to it. The fries were nice and the sandwich was very good with all the pickles and coleslaw. The chicken was pretty tender and an actual piece of chicken not a pre-made burger which I enjoyed. The spice was subtle but pleasant. My only complaint was the very limited hot honey. The small amount I tasted was very nice it just could have had 4x the amount that was on there. Otherwise it was nice.

My wife had the calamari and fries. They didn't bring it initially and may have been left in the warmer for a few minutes as the plate was very hot when it arrived. The calamari was over cooked and a little tough. But the taste was ok. Overall 3 meals out of four were pretty good.

We have had the calamari before and it has been cooked very well and tender. I guess they were just busier than usual today

Great place to enjoy a quick break and a drink. Would highly recommend the Coconut Margarita. Very nice atmosphere with a good buzz.

When I came here during lunch, they were busy but I got seated right away.
The menu has some really good options but I ended up getting the fried calamari and fish tacos.
The calamari was very crispy and flavorful. And the fried fish tacos were really good.

It's a nice place and not overpriced at famous pier 39. There's kids menus they've enjoyed and i had a fantastic tuna poke. The staff was super friendly.

Terrible service. We waited for over half an hour without being served. We ordered two beers and the waitress had an angry face. More than 10 minutes passed, and she was just wandering around. I had to get up to ask another waitress if I had to put my order in the machine. If I could give it less than 10 stars, I would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
