I just moved to the neighborhood, and this coffee shop is the closest one to me. I usually would not say something like this, but the difference in how the Mexican woman cashier treats white customers vs black customers is honestly unbelievable.
I have come here three times. Each time, I stood behind someone getting a warm greeting and a friendly conversation, which is exactly the kind of charm a neighborhood coffee shop should have. When it was my turn, there was no acknowledgment and the interaction becomes noticeably curt. As I waited, I watched her mood shift back to cheerful and welcoming when serving others.
The two gentlemen making the drinks have always been very friendly to everyone and are the reason I kept giving this place a chance. But after three visits, each time my experience is ruined by interacting with an unwelcoming person first thing.

hands down best coffee I’ve ever had. I don’t get how they make it so good. atmosphere is a bit… pretentious maybe. but for a special treat of what coffee can actually taste like, I’ll be going here and no where else.

There were like 5 dogs in here, all anxious / fighting each other. Workers seemed to encourage it. Also, it wasn’t busy but it took 15 minutes to make an iced matcha. Coffee was pretty good but matcha was grainy/clumpy and not very flavorful.
