The barista working this afternoon deserves a mention for great customer service; cheerful and friendly (bonus points for the great playlist). He brightened up what was otherwise a dreary day :) And I watched him bring a smile to many other customers as I sat and drank my coffee.

My boyfriend and I checked out Wooden Coffeehouse on a late Sunday morning. They were busy, but the line moved quickly and the staff were friendly. Most tables were taken but we were able to snag a seat after a few minutes of waiting. We really enjoyed the pastries and my boyfriend really liked the cortado he ordered. I got a vanilla latte, but I couldn’t really taste the vanilla which was a bummer. I will definitely be visiting again though because it is in our neighborhood...

I love this coffee shop. There are a lot of coffee shops in SF and they all have their own vibe. This spot is no different, but with the amazing unique idea of just being itself. The vhs collection is top shelf, Halloween decorations are epic, the staff will become your good friends, the coffee is stellar and each barista has a soul. One must go! Be nice to my friends (the staff) they don’t take any s$*%!
