I feel bad leaving this review because i normally love all the woods locations… especially the one in Russian Hill and at Dolores Park. I used to come to this spot and it was pretty good although i wish it had more of a low key atmosphere as the spots mentioned above, but for that i wouldn’t leave a lower rating… I’m just sad they changed the detroit pizza to these mid tacos. The quality of meat is good but they have no hot sauces except cholula . The chicken is boring...
We love woods so much, its been our neighborhood go to for years, and just last week we hosted our wedding reception there! The staff was fantastic and worked through our booking discrepancies with us. The space was gorgeous, food and drinks were perfectly coordinated, and our guests and us loved celebrating there!! Woods Lowside in Lower Haight is a great little bar serving their own brewery and wine creations. They also serve Joyride Pizza, a Detroit style pizza. West out back in a secluded decked area. Service was great, the pizza was fantastic as were the brews.
