Overall it was ok, very pricy Dim Sum, there were not too many people around and I don't think you would need a reservation but I did. Customers services was great, but the food were worst than the last time I been there, many of the items were not available even if you want to order it. Also some of the dim sum obviously is reheat and not fresh . The whole area were dead, probably the only restaurant still open in that building . This would be the last time going for sure , sad but lots of good memories in there to host our wedding banquet 19 years ago . Good bye !!
The food is amazing! We watched for the carts to come around and we will thrilled with our lunch.
Great dim sum.

Excellent dim sum options, from shrimp & pork dumplings, to delicious pot stickers & egg rolls. The service is great with push carts filled with fresh veggies & crispy deep fried crab legs. Very beautiful large restaurant set inside the historical Rinkon Annex building. Priced higher than other restaurants but worth the expense.
The food and tea we were able to receive was very good. We had a hard time getting food from the carts. The workers with the carts did not come by our table unless we asked them for the food.
Great experience. Plastic chopstick are not as good as wooden ones because plastic more slippery.
We went there for a team celebration and food was ok but service took long even though the restaurant was not fully occupied. It took multiple requests to get the items requested and as well as check. There is lot more room to improve the customer service.
There is no Dim Sum restaurant in San Francisco that rivals Yank Sing. I have been visiting Yank Sing since their location on Broadway and quality of food and authenticity of experience remains to this day
Nice beginner choice for Dim Sum/Morning Tea .
The cuisine choices are relatively limited compared to conventional dim sum places, and the servers didn’t pay much attention to each table so they kept recommending plates we’ve already ordered from the cart lol.

Super busy and what you would expect for a typical dim sum experience with the waiters yelling out their wares in a get it out now urgency sifting through a ballet of back and forth carts, busboys, and house staff all turning over tables as quickly as they are filled. Tasty options throughout and a quickly sated hunger. A cacophonous but fun dining experience.

Classic
A very large restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and authentic Cantonese dim sum in a high class format. Excellent range of dishes on offer, including five types of vegan dumplings and several other vegan dishes among their omnivore menu. Open even on Christmas Day. But you need to book early, don't depend on walking in, and don't expect them to be open in the evening, I think the cutoff is around mid-afternoon

Yank Sing is my favorite spot in the city for dumplings. Must try - snap pea dumplings and orange jelly. Their chilli sauce is also unique
-1 star only because long wait times without reservation and you sit outside in the empty mall - not so fun after 45 minutes of wait
