The coffee crunch cake is light and airy with layers of crunchy honeycomb candy, whip cream frosting and delightful vanilla sponge. 😋 we arrived precisely at open on a Thursday morning. Got our cake slices right away! I totally get why people wait in line for this lovely cake! The market is a gem as well! Amazing find!
What can I say. Never had Coffee Crunch cake before. Friend recommended and that’s how we went. They are only open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm. By the time we arrived at 11am only ones left were coffee crunch cake slices. No other rolls. Also, cash only. We bought two slices to try and omg! It was so good. Heard you have to pre order the whole cake. I would’ve done it if I knew how good it was. It’s so worth it. I’m definitely ordering the whole cake...
My husband ordered the coffee crunch cake for our daughter’s birthday. He told me this cake was always sold out. Although I am not a fan of the crunchy bits (I don’t like anything sticking to my teeth), this cake did not disappoint. It’s delicious and not overly sweet. I just wish it had a stronger coffee flavor (Tiramisu is my favorite cake) and a more moist sponge.
