⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had the pleasure of dining at Yemen Kitchen in San Francisco, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the warm, welcoming vibe of the restaurant. The space itself is cozy, with beautiful decor that transports you straight to Yemen.

The food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish was a burst of flavor, with rich spices and ingredients that felt fresh and authentic. The Mandi rice was perfectly cooked, and the Lamb Haneeth melted in my mouth. The Sambusa appetizers were crispy, flavorful, and the perfect start to our meal. You can really taste the care that goes into preparing each dish.

But what made this experience even better was the incredible service. Our server, Mahmoud, went above and beyond. He was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. Mahmoud's knowledge of the menu was impressive—he explained the dishes with such passion, and his suggestions for pairing food with drinks were spot-on. It's not often you encounter a server who genuinely elevates your dining experience the way he did.

All in all, Yemen Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Yemeni cuisine in the heart of San Francisco. A big shoutout to Mahmoud for making our meal even more special. We’ll definitely be back!

Authentic Yemeni breakfast in the heart of SF.
I had the egg omelette and the masoub — and let me tell you, the masoob was absolutely divine. Sweet, creamy, and unbelievably comforting — it tasted like dessert made by angels. Paired with a cup of hot Adeni tea, it was the perfect way to start the day. Simple setting, generous portions, and unforgettable flavors. I’ll definitely be back for more!

This place is a little hidden gem. It's a little hole in the wall with excellent food. Also it's pretty cheap.

I just love the Tumbaky (spicy mixed meat and liver dish served over rice). But if you don't like liver, they have many other flavorful dishes. Many dishes they serve are so flavorful and excellent.

I’ve visited there with one of my friend and we had Chicken Kabsah Special (mixed with rice) and Shrimp Stir Fry. Both of the dishes were great and nice. 👍
